Segregation within the diaspora.

I have been pondering for quit awhile about this. Does anyone know if the diaspora is segregated or not. I know for instance that Norway is exclusively isaaq.

In a sense, the diaspora is segregated. If people were able to choose where they could move, they would move somewhere close to their clan members.

Also, some areas have predominantly one clan group, by what I said above and also by other factors.

For example Scandinavia is mostly Hawiye, Americas majority Daarood and Isaaq is the largest in Uk. Not sure about other diasporas. Im pretty sure Norway is majority Hawiye

Australia has always been PL dominated.

I’m one to stray from qabiil conversations but there used to be a bit of qabiil division in Melbourne a few years ago.

However, it’s become more diverse and integrated in recent years.

People really moved in droves to the Uk, one of the neighbourhoods I lived here in scandinavia had a lot of somalis but all of them moved to Uk.

Is holland hawiye dominated and what would you estimate is the population there?
Yes holland now is hawiye/cadcad dominated. Allot of hawiyes came after 2010

Wallahi i have never seen a somali bantu in my life especially in holland:faysalwtf:
They are full here fr! The girls are easy to guess but the guys are on the harder side. Back in my high school every white girl had a crush on this guy and they thought he was Nigerian, Ghanese or Caribbean until he said that he was Somali. He was a very handsome lad mashallah.

how to spot one: go to Breda or Tilburg (most of them, if not all live in the south) and if you spot a black non looking Somali hanging around other Somalis he’s 99% Somali-Bantu.

From what I can tell, Germany is a healthy mix tbh and growing up here there was no segregation or tension based on qabiil. However ppl are becoming more aware of qabiil these days, which could be attributed to social media and the polarizing politics back home.
