Thank goodness the city I grew up in is 80% Isa, Gadabursi and Majerteen (although Majerteen is a little more conservative than the former two), the ilbaax liberal clans. Isa’s are low-key the most open minded Somalis I ever met. We only have one family in the city and their lives? Mashallah. I am friends with their daughter and the mother and father are really intelligent proper people.
