A level English literature is a disgusting horrible subject that should’ve never existed. It is TERRIBLE HORRIBLE TORTUROUS and simply EVIL at its core. Grade boundaries are high af and you are at the mercy of examiners. Pick this subject if you’re a sadist (or naturally good at it). History is a good pick tho.

Also, good luck for results day.

I’m saying this because I think I did bad at the subjects I want to do in sixth form I’ve already got a space at the sixth form I want to go to enrolment day is on Friday I’ll get given a student I’d and shit
Girl icl do what you enjoy the best. Dont do a subject if you HATEEE it and did bad in. I did chem for 2 years and got a 5 in gcse in it. At the end i got given an E.😭😂. Realistically speaking though if you want to do nursing I suggest picking maybe psychology and dropping RS. Idk though its up to you babe x

GOOD LUCK THOUGH!!

I was just kidding (Kinda lol). If you enjoy English lit, are good at it and are willing to put in the effort, you should go for it. But also know that it’s going to be soo much harder than it was at GCSEs. I went from getting a 9 without revision to struggling to even get a C at a levels even when I put hours and hours of work into it. A levels are a whole another beast :francis:

Ngl based on most uni requirements for subjects nursing/med fields usually want to see a background in stem subjects like biology and chemistry. I'd recommend taking even just 1 stem subject like psychology or biology if your grade is decent for it. It'll also probably be a nightmare writing a personal statement for a course that is completely outside the subjects you pick.

Also use the first 3-4 weeks to experiment different subjects and minimise regrets, it'll be worth it trust me.

Inshallah all goes well

just remember that a levels is about playing your cards right and being prepared (i fcked up there ngl) , I've seen some man come out of gcses with normal grades like 6s and do miles better than guys who got close to straight 9s in gcses
