Their museums would be empty because their ancestors lived in wooden shacks and had no ancient history to speak of.
Historical artefacts should be returned to the people who created it
They go apeshit. We all saw what the Islamic State did in Syria. Only westerners were outraged while those from the Middle East said strange things like "it was worshipped".Northern Africa, Sudan, Eritrea, and Ethiopia have impressive artifacts. I think those are mostly safe, except for if Sudan goes full ISIS/Taliban, unlikely. North Africans are not so extremist. They haven't destroyed the Roman stuff.
The Swahili coast has some nice artifacts as well, but since they stem from the Islamic era, it is unlikely to be destroyed there.
@Apollo they even beheaded the local archaeologist and bombed the ancient ruins. Why behead the man who is saving history? They're nutty. No doubt the cave paintings in the north will be ruined. It's just a matter of time and most will not care.
I was talking about western Europeans who hold those artifacts.Bantus impressively conquered a third of Africa from a small tribe of just a thousand people.
You mean the westerners who were destroying pyramids in Sudan centuries ago? Bear in mind that at this point destruction of old civilizations in the old world by westerners was commonplace. They go apeshit. We all saw what the Islamic State did in Syria. Only westerners were outraged while those from the Middle East said strange things like "it was worshipped".
hypocrisy from western governments. people were dying ov war and starvation and theyre pissed off about statues. like when afghanistan was sanctioned and there was gaajo cadaans were crying about statues instead of caruur dhimaneyso. They go apeshit. cadaans should lift sanctions and stop meddling before blaming anyone for gaajo. cuba afghanistan north korea syria their shacab suffered from sanctions not the leadership. iraq was sanctioned into oblivion 500 thousands died before the invasion. for somalia stable governance facilitates better living and united nations put heavy arms sanctions.Cadaans are always feeding gaajo children in far away lands. Women and children eat the least in these cultures while the man has the biggest plate and uses almost all the money for themselves. Look at Somalia for example where a large chunk of the household budget is used for the man's khat.
