I believe not every Somali citizen is obligated to vote. In Somali dhaqan, decisions are often made by nabadoons rather than public participation. The Ugaas or Garaad typically do not consult random citizens, hence the Kacaan movement's success can be attributed through its decision-making with fewer leaders involved. Many Somalis lack in critical thinking back home & fight over barren land & wells. Do we really expect them to vote a competent leader ?
It’s over. I blame the Kacaan for losing power. How hard is it to defeat these backward somalis and enslave them for 100 years like the italians did. They wasted a war against Ethiopia when they should have been fighting against Somalis, making sure to crush any rebellions.
