That’s reckless. Military rule solves nothing if the problem is with the people. There is no common consensus amongst Somalis on the way the country should head and how people and their livelihoods are to be protected.I support Djibouti joining Somalia as a region. Not even a "federal state". When millitary rule is restored. It's obvious throughout Somali history that the only men who were able to run Somali states were coincidentally strongman militants thay enforced Xeer.

Idk about you but I don’t think nazi germany is what we should be modelling our country afterSomalia can follow the example of germany and poland.
Fix internal problems, until it is stable, like germany in 1930s, or poland from 1990-2024
How they fix internal problems is a whole pdf document
Then firstly unify with dijbouti like germany did with anschluss
then take oagden from ethopia like germany did with the sudetenland
then take Northern regions from kenya, like germany with poland
The people's opinion never mattered. The biggest disgrace to come out of the civil war was having the Common people he involved with politics. Now every man on the street wants to give his opinion on politics and we have former taxi drivers and such in high positions even president. That’s reckless. The bad thing about dictatorship is once they dye the country turns to shit. They are bandaid to the true problem.Nomadic people are too hard headed and have to be ruled with an iron fist look at central Asian countries all dictatorships we need to follow example
Not necessarily, dictatorships collapse because there is no state structure that can survive without the Man at thr top. Some dictatorships however create a strong state that can outlive them and these usually become the most successful and developed than "democratic" states. The bad thing about dictatorship is once they dye the country turns to shit. Repeating the same mistake and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. I understand the frustration of some Somalis but we really don’t need to go back to another kacaan esque governance.
What mistake was made? The democracy days was very civilised but it was still rife with corruption and bickering in Mogadishu. But I respect the men of those days for being able to settle things in a civilised manner. If we continued without the 1969 Kacaan, Somalia would be no different to Kenya in terms of its Political and Economic state. And Kenya isn't anything to strive for.
Under strict millitary rule however, there was an opportunity to forcefully transform Somalia into something completely different. That was I the process. But there was many reasons stopping this. For one, there can never truly be a Somali state with half of Somali land and people outside the borders. Siad Barre invaded in the perfect time when ethiopia was in a 30 year civil war with Eritrea seceding. But Soviets came in and ruined it. Throwing Somalia down the path it is on now.
Had Somalia unified all Somali lands. We would see a massive Somali state with all the resources and people it needs to industrialise. We would've been exporting textiles like we have always done, then with the money buisnessmen would get into manufacturing tech and the nation would boom economically. You can't have this type of development with clans and wannabe states with their own littlepresidentsTribal Chiefs
It mostly depends on ideology, there's a reason why gaddafi and ben ali governments fall .Not necessarily, dictatorships collapse because there is no state structure that can survive without the Man at thr top.
