That is common for all languages. Any Somali who knows their language to a good degree would understand Somalis from different regions with little problem. Somalis who never traveled outside their tribal zone included.

Are all the same and depends on what region in Somalia you grew up. I understand all of these despite never seeing beyond Xamar and south to Muqdishu to the Kenyan border. Never been to central, mudug, northeast and North/Northwest somalia but can understand their somali when they speak. It is all the same language.

But she is a nurse and not a physicist. It explains why the sun seemingly moving across the sky relative to her earthly position makes sense to her and that she believes it is the sun that moves only and not the earth.

It is tough to explain to a lay person like her how the earth moves at the equator(Kismayo area for example) 460 meters per second or 1000 m/h. The huge size of earth relative to a human makes it impossible for people to feel or notice earth is moving and with them along.

And finally, many people go to school and study some subject and choose a major which doesn't mean they understand all science. This ignorance plagues atheists as well.
