I was reading the post that @Xaruun posted, and I saw that the vote was basically 50/50.
I think that even Somali Murtads are Somali, because our people weren't always Muslim. We adopted Islam, and before that we believed in Waaq and other things. Does that mean that before Islame came to us, we were never Somalis? Or that we became Somali when we adopted Islam? No. We are Somali because of our blood, our culture, "Somalinimo" etc. When you are identifying someone as a certain Nationality, Race or Ethnicity, you have to remove Religion out of the equation. For example, almost all whites in America are christian. Would you then call a 'White' person in America who isn't Christian a non-white?? No. Idk how y'all niggas can just get away with idiotic logic
