Somali Support to Gaza

It is an initiative started by Somali Scholars and Imams after meeting with Scholars and Imams of Palestine during a conference in Turkey on how to support Gaza.

Sheikh Cabdi Xayi has been leading it and he explains how they have been able to provide shelters, money, warm clothes, and a temporary musalla. He said they send more then 50k every month for the past six months.

They collect it from 100 Masjids in Muqdisho every month and donations from Somalis who send it to them.

Yes, the same Sheikh started a campaign to donate to Gaza months ago.






Again yes, the same Imam lead the absentee prayer then afterwards they protested to show their support like most of the Muslim world. Except certain zionist controlled states like Saudi, UAE, Egypt.

Most Masjids in Somalia held the absentee prayer yesterday.

This was also from last week on the year anniversary 07/10, a conference commemorating the Al-Aqsa Flood.

Sounds like a disease of the heart to only use such things as talking points against Sadaqa going towards suffering Muslims.

Sadaqa can be split amongst those who need help. There’s nothing with allocating some of your sadaqa towards the people of Gaza who are literally undergoing a genocide. They helped us during the 2011 famine, why not return the favor?

They managed to collect 50k a month for Gaza, could have they not collected +100k for local sadaqa as well?

You must fill your own bucket before you have enough water to fill for others. Only once you raise yourself first can you then be in a better position to help others much more efficiently

And there's absolutely nothing wrong with pointing this out and I'll even take it a step further and say you're comment is tainted with bias

I think it just bothers some of you seeing our brothers and sisters in Palestine getting support.

Like i said before, instead of burning up seeing suffering Muslims getting help you can go ahead and do what you are preaching yourself. Which I doubt, like I said it is the Somalis who donate to suffering Muslims all over that would be the ones to actually help Somalis.

And our teachings is from Islam not your opinions.

There are to camps so far. One in Khan Yunus and one in Jabalia. They provide 300 dollars a month to every family in the camps.

Oromo are another problem, one that can be resolved if there was a functional Somali state, but we shouldn't complain about other Africans in Somalia since we do the same, for the Bantus that live in Somalia it is our burden to bear as a people, they never asked to be taken away from their homes and enslaved.
