Even Puntland coastline(1600 km) we could feed all Africa with the best graded seafood as the water temp and water quality allows for all sea life to grow of the best variety, theirs a reason why the international trawllers(commercial pirates) come.

This statement makes no sense at all. Exploration is 70% done but they already know that ‘drilling ships’ will be on their way in 45 days? So they know for sure there is oil there, because this says they will start drilling, not exploring further? I’m incredibly skeptical of all of this, especially given Culusows recent comments in Parliament where I heard him say that the Turks told him the sea bed is filled with garbage and debris that will take a lot of money and effort to remove first. Am I missing something?

The minister also mentions that the garbage and fishing nets caused issues but they seem to have overcome it. They definitely found something if they already have the ship on standby. Just a question of how much

   2. How easy its to get to oil. Depth, rock type.. etc all impact profitability the harder it is to access the oil less the profit margin
   3. Reservoir size and location. This also determine how much you can earn from rig
   4. Mess any of the above up you are looking at environmental disaster and major loss of money

The region also depends greatly. If it’s close to Xamar it might be easier for FGS but if it’s far away and not under FGS control, forget it. I’m not even talking about SL/PL/JL either as those are a given. The other regions are too chaotic and don’t have ports or other infrastructure. Also you have the issue of American and western oil giants who had agreements with the military regime. They will not go away quietly I’m sure.
