Yes. F***k them ayrabs. Why are you blaming the gov for UAE disrespect.Wallahi our government is not serious if it gets triggered by shit like this. What’s the plan if UAE refuses to apologize will our government petulantly cut diplomatic ties with the UAE?
The fault is actually on the UAE's side. It's not Somalia commenting provocatively on the UAE's interval issues. Any sovereign state would have to respond when being attacked in such an undiplomatic manner in public view.Wallahi our government is not serious if it gets triggered by shit like this. That’s not how it works, a nation isn’t meant to publicly humiliate and undermine another nations sovereignty especially when it’s in such a fragile state.Wallahi our government is not serious if it gets triggered by shit like this. Let’s keep it 100. Our government yesterday kinda indirectly called out UAE alleged being an “influence of external forces being an obstacle”.The fault is actually on the UAE's side. There’s no such thing as friends, that’s ridiculous.Nonsense, the paper regime that only rules Banadir should be more concerned about stepping down peacefully instead of being forcefully removed by the opposition. The UAE is a great friend for both countries Somaliland and Somalia unlike the nefarious Turkey/Qatar axis
So calling a government who’s mandate ended on 8th February an interim is a public humiliation and undermining national sovereignty ?That’s not how it works, a nation isn’t meant to publicly humiliate and undermine another nations sovereignty especially when it’s in such a fragile state.
It is legitimate, they are trying to cause chaos. You can already see what they are doing in Libya and Yemen. So calling a government who’s mandate ended on 8th February an interim is a public humiliation and undermining national sovereignty ?
C’mon now and I know you’re intelligent enough to not believe that
Come on buddy we both know UAEs meddling doesn’t just stop there. It’s like pointing out the disabled kid is disabled, everyone already knew it you just don’t say the obvious. So calling a government who’s mandate ended on 8th February an interim is a public humiliation and undermining national sovereignty ?

The gov calls out foreign influence without pointing fingers but the UAE feels the need to come out and attack our government. How is the gov wrong for demanding an apology for the disrespect.Let’s keep it 100. Our government yesterday kinda indirectly called out UAE alleged being an “influence of external forces being an obstacle”.
It comes no surprise that UAE foreign minister then comes out and says interim government. Which then leads to our government getting pissed and demanding an apology.
In what universe is a government past it’s mandate still legitimate? and people wonder why we’re failed state. There’s no rule of lawIt is legitimate, they are trying to cause chaos. You can already see what they are doing in Libya and Yemen.
MadnessWasnt Qatar caught plotting attacks within the country where the hell was the statement then?
Somalis are willing to lockheads with eachother for an arab aabo who pays their electricty bill and gives them the guns they sell back to AS anyways
But it was very clearly obvious it was directed at UAE. You know that and I know that. All the UAE said was “interim government” which from a legal standpoint it clearly is. If you feel that’s an attack on the government that’s your opinion. The gov calls out foreign influence without pointing fingers but the UAE feels the need to come out and attack our government. There are contingency in such situation in Somalia and many governments around the world. You already see what they're doing in Libya and Yemen and those are Arabs closer to them. Seriously what do you think the objective here is, they are inflaming the situation on purpose. In what universe is a government past it’s mandate still legitimate? and people wonder why we’re failed state. There’s no rule of law
So calling out the foreign influence (which the are part of) without publicly mentioning them was respectful way of saying back off. But they publicly call our government illegitimate. There is no private diplomacy after that. We absolutely deserve an apology. But it was very clearly obvious it was directed at UAE. You know that and I know that. As for the apology the FGS knows full well it ain’t getting an apology from UAE. All this could’ve been done private in a diplomatic way instead our government unfortunately has a Donald Trump approach to diplomacy which is to vent on social media
Contingency requires an extension from the legislative body in this case the Somalia Parliament in advance (prior the end date of the mandate) something Farmaajo failed to get. There are contingency in such situation in Somalia and many governments around the world. Why are you so hell bent on defending these people. You think the UAE will take you disrespecting them like this. Like if we called their monarchy illegitimate.
No there is contingency in place already to avoid a power vacuum and chaos which they undoubtedly want.Contingency requires an extension from the legislative body in this case the Somalia Parliament in advance (prior the end date of the mandate) something Farmaajo failed to get.
