There is guriceel a town and guriceel district, which has guriceel the town and 100+ villages under it.

Galnusmudugnus doesn't even have one whole region. They have 1/3 of galguduud and half of mudug. imilarly, Khatumo has a tiny piece of togdheer, and parts of sool and sanaag.

Despite this, Galnusmudugnus is a federal state unlike Khatumo. I hope Khatumo can become a federal state for the same reason that Galnusmudugnus was created. To give beesha al-daroodiyah more seats in the government following the upcoming end of the ruinous foor boint five formula.

Yeah, it was created after the collapse of the kacaan. but it's not new, it was there way before 2008. but since Guriceel has developed rapidly and still is, it became a district and since many tuulos around the town come to the town for services. even people from Mataban district of hiraan come there for trading. it used to be part of Dhusamareb district but not anymore and many towns have grown up rapidly between the two towns like mareer gur.
