They are separate continents because the Whites didn't have anything in common with the Mongols or Arabs so they artificially cut themselves of. If Africans lr Arabs were the ones creating the continents they/we would have cut Africa off into two pieces aka North and HoA into its own thing and Rest of Bantu Africa into their own thing
That is true. But we're going off of those facts. That is something that inevitably happened, even though we don't identify well with others. But you can't change the definition of what black or african means. Even if you don't think it applies to you. Does that make sense?
Similarly to how transexuals feel like they're women, even though they were born males. People decided things on how they felt and gender is a social construct.

The minority status campaigners proposal seeks to expand the official definition of the MENA region, by adopting the Arab League’s designation of the Arab world, which encompasses Sudan, Somalia, Djibouti and Comoros. They are also calling for the inclusion of three non-Arab states — Turkey, Iran and Israel, as well as four subnational communities — Assyrians, Chaldeans, Kurds and Berbers.
Proponents say the expanded definition would allow for the counting of Afro-Arab populations, which the U.S. census has historically undercounted. “An ethnic category allows people to self-identify as whatever race they want in addition to MENA ethnicity,” says Kayyali. “After all, there are many shades within the Middle East and North Africa region.”
So we would either fill out as Somali or Somali will become a part of the Arab umbrella as a minority group.

The first level of difficulty emerges from the very concept of “Arab” itself. Who is considered to be Arab? Though some cases are very clear (most Syrians, Egyptians, Moroccans, and others from Arab League states consider themselves as Arab), many problems arise at the margins. Groups that don’t speak Arabic (many Sudanese, Somalis, and Kurds), or claim a different cultural background (Copts, Chaldeans, and Assyrians for example), or a different historical genealogy (Berbers, Lebanese “Phoenicians,” etc) have all struggled with their relationship to the term “Arab,” and the issue of their inclusion as “Arab American” is no different. The Census Bureau doesn’t consider individuals who claim Sudanese, Somali, or Assyrian/Chaldean/Syriac ancestry to be “Arab,” but it does include Kurds.
Oh, ok. Somalis have a darker complexion than others. Therefore they're black. Anyone who tries to say otherwise is delusional. They also have similar features to blacks and other people can't tell us apart from them. So therefore, anyone who says we're not should be locked up in a mental hospital.

I will let you Somalians in on a little secret that isn't spoken outside of actual black circles and most other black dudes will absolutely hate me for saying this. Ever wondered why it is only black men who love to claim that Somalis (and other horners) are black, but black women typically do not? Ever wondered why most black women like to insist Somalis are not black but are a completely different type altogether or are mixed breeds and should not be compared to them at all?
It is really all a matter of sexual conquest and assimilation. The western black man who generally hates his women finds the exotic features of the Somalis and the horners to be much more attractive than his own women. He however does not want to be referred to as a self-hater which is why he will gladly extend the definition to 'exotic' looking women like biracials, certain latinas, and North and East Africans. He can no longer be accused of being a self hater when he breeds with these women. On the other hand, he knows the vast majority of black women who love black men are not at all attracted to Somalian and other horn African men at all and hence while he gains sexual access to greener pastures through this paradigm others (like the Somalian males) lose big time.
