I said in a previous thread earlier today SL nationalism is at an all time high unfortunately and Farmaajo is fanning the flame. Before his reign You could wear Somalia tracksuit let alone a bracelet.

But as a neutral I do 100% condemn the actions by SL. It’s undemocratic to do this. A Lander can wear his flag in Somalia and the same should apply vice versa.

Back then we had somewhat of a healthy relationship with the breakaway region of SL . They obviously wanted independence but we obviously was never gonna give it to them but the talks were amicable. Farmaajo has soured that and that in turn has stoked SL nationalism to the point you’d get arrested for wearing a Somalia flag in SL
