Somalis Have Bad Gym Genetics

Why do some Somali men still have the retarded fitness outlook that we have "bad genetics". I had multiple friends and family who discouraged me from eating protein powder and lifting heavy weights saying I won't make gains and Allah made Somalis naturally weak. All that fast metabolism is b.s too it can only account for like 250 calories.

Growing up I always had low muscle mass cause I was fed b.s by my family. We used ration out meat and ate hundreds of grams of carbs a day. See the images below of my family's typical diet. It got to the point when I finally quit high carbs I was damn near having withdrawals and cravings for sugar everyday.

Somalis men are generally built with good solid frames and are usually between the heights of 5'7-6'2. We have long limbs and have good lung capacity. Sure we aren't Nigerians but still we can put on some serious gains if we tried. Nowadays alx I seen plenty of solid built Somali youts in the gym who actually have decent physiques which proves everyone wrong.

Also somali girls love y'all but y'all are getting heavy. Don't confuse thicc with fat. Almost every somali women over 30 are overweight too.

Studies prove this diet causes diabetes in somalis too.

and tbh there isn’t much benefit getting bigger than this, this is ideal for 99 % of women. only a minority of women like those massive gymrat physiques.

People who cope with the “we have bad genetics” nonsense don’t realize your ideal body is made in the kitchen not the gym. Not to undercut the importance of the gym, but you won’t make much progress going hard in the gym but eating Somali food loaded with empty carbs.

Fix diet ASAP, learn your macros for what you wanna do and build a diet. From there, find a workout program you like. You don’t gotta be very strict with it as long as you hit your macros (protein, carbs, fats).
 
One friend of mine was complaining about not gaining muscle, while his diet was moms xalwo, burr saliid, pasta with a tiny bit of minced meat:damn:

But you cannot deny that majority of somali male youth are skinnier and lanky than say cadaans and madows. I mean you could say that we have adapted to thousands of years in a hot climate where simply being long and lean could help you survive. But anyone can get decently big with effort and pain.

Sorry pal, have to disagree. If you consistently get stronger OVER TIME and eat right you WILL look better than 90% on this earth. This framelet/cel shit gotta go. I know an skinny cadaan who out worked and trained more than any of the somalis at the gym and they had better start point genetic wise. Now him and many other smoke them because of dicipline. How u gon get big on malawax/xalwo, tea with 10 scoops of sugar, and a pasta/minced meat with 10g protein in it. Stick to bariis and hilib but no dudes gotta have that starbux and malawax.

I agree but mogging 90% is one thing. Hitting a certain aesthetic standard or aiming towards a certain body type without realistically assessing your own build and potential is another.

Comparing yourself to others or an arbitrary standard of progression and not taking your own capabilities into account is a major reason people have for burning out and dropping gym.

Exactly I usually see Somali guys at my gym with this body or thin. Athletic probably suits us.

Nah this is achievable for around 95 % of people within 1-2 years. 6 ft 180 lb and low body fat. That’s basically my physique.
