OP, what’s wrong with Somalis claiming Harar?
Some Somalis are now claiming Harar, and calling Hararis a fake ethnicity

They don't view them as one ethnic group, but a punch of ppl including Oromos.
The thing is, they are saying there is no such ethnic group as Hararis, but those who claim to be Hararis are in fact Oromos, Gurage, and sidamos. This is the same attacks as the Oromos claiming Hararis to be imposers Aderi. This is an attack on this vulnerable people.
That's the problem isn't it, too many armchair politicans and historians online who think anyone gives a shit about their opinion.
Disgusting those oromos are replacing the poor people they even go so far to even claim that they are the "real" hararis.

Ehhhhhhhhhh. Many genetics expert on this forum will tell you they group with Amxaar more than anyone on the eastern side of the horn, even Oromos. They aren't really native but more of a people descendant from the urban population of the wider Islamic area. Even their claims of a "HUGE" genocide are dubious wallahi, they were a small urban rich people by definition, it doesn't make much sense

It never stretched this far into the Sudan all the way to Egypt, and Mogadishu was a supporter of Adal, so it should be having a different related color to highlight its allied status, though I have seen historic maps that include it as part of the ‘Kingdom of Adal’. The Madagascar link has not been researched properly and should be dismissed. Yemen had Somali settlements, but there is no proof as of yet that they maintained political ties with their original homeland.It would be cool though if they made a map like the one below about the Vikings but instead highlighted all of the territories, cities and settlements that were covered, established and traded with by historic states and individuals from Somalia;
