What do they all have in common? They all have darood presidents. Let the rightful rulers rule and prosperity shall follow.

It isn't like a is the way it is because of a Darod king *coughs*...president.
To quote your great leader:"When I came to Mogadishu, there were a lot of roads built by the Italians. If you try to force me to stand down, I will leave the city with no roads. I came to power with a gun and only the gun can make me go.":fittytousand:

I don't hail from the south you bimbo. Djibouti was forced by the french not to join the union. Either way if Somalis want to revert to mini qabiil states then so be it.

At this point i'm inclined to agree. Let's see what these insignificant qabiil states will amount to on their own. Hint, not much. They will be at the mercy of other countries forever. Maybe that's what we deserve.

For the foreseeable future i will only be focused on making a fuckload of money in the cadaan man's country, although Somalinimo will always be in my heart. If an ultra-nationalist leader like @jugjugwacwac or @Bahal ever attains power i will pledge allegiance. Insha'allah.

Most of those cities are slums and have low living standards, hygiene etc. No thanks. I'd rather somalia develop at its own pace and focus on security and increasing living standards than put up a few tall buildings.

Bro we are happy like this. Somali can change somalia and right now its qabil vs qabil. I think if enough somali had tvs and computers with internet we could raise awareness of our plight. However most people in somali live hand to mouth and are absolutely unaware of the of where the world is headed and how poor nations are developing.

This makes the politician very happy because they have a population who can be manipulated easily and don't hold their government to account on anything.

Anyways those cities are disgusting and absolutely rife with disease, pest and filth. Plus I dont think their average citizen is that much better off then the one in Somalia. I think what frustrates me more than anything about somalia is our potential and where we are today.

Sad thing is Mogadishu was waaay ahead of these back then. If war didn't happen it would've probably been a metropolis now bigger than any of these cities. It was biggest city in the African east coast not just in the 60s-70s but the past thousands of years.

But no need to beat yourself up. shit happens just as much as miracles happen. places like Dubai went from a village to Dubai in a few decades. We can still make that great bounce back :wow:

First things first qabil needs to be eradicated. Outdated trash doesn't belong in this century. Then we can build a country, with qabil though don't hold your breath for a better future.

Sadly I don't think you can eradicate qabil peacefully.

I swear before all somali regions get their shit together the generations after me will become white and adjust to the European climate.
I'm already light-skinned and only 2 generations have been in Scandinavia before me and my friends can't speak Somali. :kendrickcry:

EDIT: We wont see any change during our life time, seriously.... f*ck it

One tribe needs to squash the rest and be the LONE WOLF of the country, then the country can develop and aim higher.

I was about to disagree then this fool came along. :snoop:
Its the only solution, you can't just eradicate Qabiil, But if one tribe conquers the rest and forces other tribes to submit to their rule then and only then we can develop and compete with the rest of Africa.
