This is partly true, the Dhulbahante disunity problem. Warsangeli generally support Puntland and are internally more cohesive. Though they do have lackeys similar to Dhulbahante operating from Jeegaanland, these lackeys represent themselves and keep a low profile.
I have no doubt that they will shed blood to protect Badhan.

This is the fundamental difference. You must be ready to die for your homeland. That is why Jeegaanland cannot step inside Buuhoodle. The Lions of Buuhoodle would rather die than accept the rule of Jeegaanland.

Dhulbahante are also more unruly, each man is a Sultan unto himself. While this attitude made them a great warrior nation before and during the Dervish era, this is not an positive attribute in this day of institutions and state building. It's a negative trait that easily exposes them to the classic divide and rule tactic.There is no respect for leadership and hierarchy. There is no discipline. Of course, this is not a permanent feature, for societies are dynamic and do transit. What is happening in Buuhoodle is the beginning of institutionalisation and state formation. Buuhoodle or Cayn as it is also called is a defacto federal region of Somalia. Somali passports are issued there and the Somali flag flies high. As long as Buuhoodle survives, the dream of SSC as an autonomous region under Somalia remains alive.

I don't need to exaggerate the deadly conflict between Habar Yoonis and Habar Jeclo. It has happened in the past and is happening as we speak in Dararweyne. Moonshine Burco virtually has a green line. The numerous clips posted here where Habar Yoonis leaders have articulated their grievances are there for all to see. They have threatened to attack and destroy Jeegaanland, which is really a euphemism for Habar Jeclo in Habar Yoonis speak.There is nothing minor about this.

But seriously though, don't you think that we need to change our mindsets regarding the ictiraaf saga? Don't think we need a Plan B? I know it is sensitive matter for us, but don't think that we should at least talk about it without getting emotional?

Why? why should we change to a plan B when the status quo is the most rational option other than ictiraaf? We've come a long way and this thing about Ethiopia being an enemy needs rethinking from my point of view. Ethiopia only cares about money/benefits at this point. They're invested in SL so I don't see how viewing them as an enemy is helpfull to anybody.
