SDF backstabbed regime They want that oil. The East is completely fucked tho with heavily armed Bedouin Arab nomadic tribes, IS cells still doing ambushes, Iraqi Shia Militias & the Assad Regime. The Kurds are delusional if they think they can hold that territory while a re-emerging confident Levantine Sunnis militas are becoming more confident and gained momentum. The Turks will also make sure that the SDF are not successful.

It will be interesting to see in January as Trump has thrown the Kurds under the bus multiple times in favour of his relationship with Erdogan.
