From Arabia, or through Arabia. How do you explain the complete absence of the subclade from most of Arabia, except a small section in the east? I think the subclade is probably an ancient mesopotamian one that found its way into Arabian tribes, then those tribes migrated into the northern Somali coast. What do you think? Or are you a proponent of the South Semitic hypothesis? I know this is all at the speculation level still, at least until further evidence can be obtained.
Is it an established fact that we (Somalis) only settled Northern Somalia 2k ybp ?
The earliest evidence I can find it 2100bp cave paintings in Sanaag most certainly done by Somalis.
Where?

Kkk he wants you to pay for their full Y test.
@Cuneo do you think "Koshin" ould be another South Semitic loan word? It has the K-H-N central Semetic root word like you mentioned earlier for Kaahin.
You know any other words in Somali that are non Islamic Semitic in origin that aren't wadaad and kaahin?I don’t think so. I think Kooshin is an old Somali name but Kaahin is definitely Semitic.

Probably since Habesha land was next door
Now that you've found your heritage i think you should go and see the South Arabia exhibit at the British Museum.Btw I don't think, if the T-Y44591 was indeed a South Arabian, they were Jewish at all . The Himyarites converted to Judaism in 380CE. I think that would've been well after our ancestor got to Somaliland. I don't know about the orthodox Christian thing though, I've not seen any evidence.
What do you guys think?

In a historical context, when the Sabean civilization disintegrated after the collapse of the Ma’rib dam, there was a dispersal of people from that area. Somali T carriers could be descendants of these Sabeans or they could be the descendants of a lost civilization like ‘Ad (Iram) and Thamud. The latter theory was established by Esteban, the Spanish geneticist and HG-T connoisseur.
Dir has its own subclade mutation that is 1900 ybp. Still way off from the dam collapsing thoQuestion regarding this. The breach of the Marib Dam happened in the 6th century CE. The TMRCA for T-Y44591 is 3000 ybp, about 1000BCE. Unless I'm misunderstanding how TMRCA means, doesn't that mean there's a 1600 year gap in your theory?
