Well where I live people voted in full faith. Lets sum up how the government screwed everyone over
'1. People used to get tuition fee for college and uni. Which was payed in monthly installments. Depending on what your parents make you would get less or more. Now that tuition fee is no longer free (if you finish your uni or college within 10 years). Now you have to pay it back anyway it has been turned into a debt. Secondly Uni was never free here anyway but the tuition money did make it way easier.
2. Prostitution and drugs are legal here.
3. Homosexuality and the whole trans thingy is now compulsory in the sex education of children in primary school. This so called muslim party voted for penalizing schools who do not add this to their sex education. While a lot of muslims voted for them hoping they would represent them
4. The niqaab is prohibited since its a so called safety issue
5. Health care is getting more and more expensive. Some parties who promised to do something about this retracted these promises when they got the votes they wanted.
here you don't have one party ruling all. they need to form a coalition. like if 28 % voted on party A and 27% voted on party B. they don't have to necessarily govern together. If nobody wants to work with party B, however party C 18% and party D 15% want to work with party A. They can form a coalition and govern the country together . Party B is then completely discarded.
Anyhow this obviously isn't the reason i have never voted in my life. I never voted because after studying Tawheed my conclusion was that voting is haraam. Alhamdulilaah i came to that conclusion before even turning 18.

What you are doing is called Taqleed (blind following) of this Zakir Naik and it's not from Islam.
If you want to do Taqleed then do it for the Prophet (SAW) and not some modern day speaker.

But in all seriousness, i don't subscribe to such conspiracy theories for the simple reason that it elevates silly gaalo governments to almost God like status. They can't see and hear all nor are they controlling every event. It is Allah who is doing that but we fail to comprehend it.

I do believe inside jobs happen like when Russia blew up a school and blamed the Chechnya Muslims for it and it all came out later. But some people go as far as saying these people (predominantly the U.S) can control the weather and cause earth quacks.
