The reason why Australia isn't freezing when space is -499 degrees is because we have an atmosphere that surrounds the earth that protects us from the freezing space. You can looking into these by researching more about the earth atmosphere. If that is the case then if it can bring -455 to 85 degrees than the place that has sun is focused should be more than 5x hotter than normal as the atmosphere retains the sun's heat.
By the way the assumption that the sun is 93 million miles away was a mistake made by Ole Romer He saw the eclipses of Jupiter's moons that they appear 16.5 minutes earlier on different parts of the year he assumed that this was because The earth was on the other side of it's solar revolution. And he said that 16.5 minutes is how long the light took to reach us from the eclipse. That is where we get the bogus 8 minutes for sunlight to reach us info. He did not consider that the eclipse took longer to be seen because it was a difference of angles of viewing.

I was once like you I loved watching NASA vids and wanted to work there. I loved space and watched so may hours of documentaries and movies. But I read some books like Zetic cosmology and kings dethroned and my perspective changed. My belief in geocentric earth was sealed by re-reading Quran and hadiths and they finally made sense, Like the sun being brought very close on judgment day, the missiles for the devils are the shooting stars, the heavens and earth are referd as two. The heavens and earth will be rolled up in the hand of Allah. I have finally woken up. If you get rid of the heliocentric model you lose evolution, atheism and other such ills to society. This is done by design so you can feel insignificant and wallow in your desires and lose connection to the lord. Galleio, Copernicus and newton who are the fathers of modern space were all freemasons. Freemasonry is a sun worshipping cult which dates back to the ancient times. So it would make sense for them to say the sun is the biggest and center as they worship it.

Pretend that you and your whole country turned off the tv and social media since march 2020. You would have never known of a pandemic. I personally had covid 3 times and it was indistinguishable from the flu I used to have years prior. Real pandemics like the black death don't need extensive coverage and pleading from the officials. Just the sight of your neighbors dropping dead in the street would make you take precautions.
