The Case for Jubaland Independence

That’s what I mean. You don’t have to see it my way. I just want a recognised sole government. I’d literally take the fat man from Djibouti, so long as power is centralised. I’d take Isaias. Nigga I’d take Kim jong un, so long as there is only one man who calls himself president that is progress. Undeniable.

I want my people to just accept someone. It’s been in over 30years
It’s not going to happen so you can keep crying

Darood make up this fake irir thing to mask their own daroodism which is really setting up parallel governments in every darood territority (fake federalism). They refuse to be ruled by anyone else.

I think the IC is getting bored of this and wants to push towards centralising power now because fake federalism isn't really a model for rebuiling a country. If you accept the premise of fake federalism you accept that Somalia can never be a country again.

The new model will be two unitary states, Somaliland and Somalia.

*The Case for Jubbaland Annexation :mjlol:

Ya know, this actually would be beneficial. JL gets annexed, joins NFD. Somalis become the most populous ethnic group in Kenya. They take over the Kenyan government, making it 10% more zoo. Kenya becomes the 6th Somali country. We have United Somali League. The end.

Why is Jubbaland and Puntland isolating themselves against the FGS while claiming to be a part of Somalia, why is SSC trying to claim to be a part of Somalia? What is wrong with Darood?

SL will disintegrate in the next few years. You will be waving the Blue flags of Somalia & SSC in Caynabo soon

@TheLand

The biggest victims of irir samaale tend to be innocent victims of it who are usually hawiye or isaaq, don't blame them, it's that silly IOG who u should have alot of contempt for who only fuels it for his own self preservation goals as he knows its not realistic I mean 2 towns rulling 90 like wtf? he knows it won't happen but his assuming if Somalia can remain in conflict he benefits as he won't be overshadowed nor be scared of his own locals toppling him for a better system then what siyad barre taught him.

As for the people don't blame them, they are the biggest victims always thru terrorism and suicide bombings which is a tool to hold Somalia in the status quo untill samaale vision can happen.

The other soft tactics like never ending meetings, sending horgals, fuelling rural conflict so it can escalate to clan, economic and scholarship embargo, corruption are all ways to make Federalism appear unworkable, secondly it buys time for favorable conditions for irir samaale to emerge.

The sad thing rather then wasting 40 years and harming your own people because your leaders r chasing the harm of others, i see as careless leadership and totally low iq.
The problem with Somalis is that they have no new ideas. They want centralism because they heard of a guy called afweyne who used to rule them for 20 years and they think they can just go back to that. They’ve been unable to do it for over 30 years now and will never be able to do it. They don’t ask why Afweyne and centralism failed, they just think that was something that worked for a while and that it can be done again. No concern for why it didn’t work and why we are 30 years behind the worst countries in the world. Let’s just go back to that shit and hope a civil war doesn’t happen again which it 100% would. Absolute imbeciles.

News flash for you bud, we are currently holding the fort without SNA and ATMIS and paying our own salaries too. Can the paper states of Hirshabeele and Galmudug do that? Can the paper state of FGS do that?

being stuck in your own bunkers for over a decade is not the flex you think it is

I’m new to this website, but the absolute state of these comments shows why we can never progress as a country. We have people using slurs and making fun of bombings. Do you guys not feel any shame?

Ngl, Somalia should just kick out Jubaland and Puntland. Can’t stand em. Don’t want em anymore. I wish them the best but the Somali government needs to progress and these man are just spoilers
Not happening, they will be taken by force if the need arises. A couple oday who don’t want a country can’t hold their entire state hostage.

when it ceded Jubaland to Italy in 1925 (British kept NFD).
If this never happened, Jubaland would be apart of Kenya to this day just like NFD kekekek. Self rule kulaha, you were a British colony and are somehow mad that you were forced to be with your fellow Somalis whom you share a religion and culture with and instead preferred to stay with pagan and gaalo Kikyukus, Luos and Maasai.

There is a reason why NFD Somalis which were never apart of Italian Somaliland immediately sought to be apart of Somalia, because they didn't want to be stuck with Kenya.

Fantastic. I would correct the clan rivalrties part. The 3 main tribes of Jubaland (Ogaden, Harti, and Gedo Marehan) have made peace and learned to share. Don't let foreign spoilers in Caabudwaaq (ree Diini) make you think we have issues, the Gedo Marehan are very pro-Jubbaland.

Otherwise this is a great list. We have a better legal case than Somaliland!

Not correct. NFD without Jubaland is not economically viable, it wouldn't have survived if given independence. British basically had to add it to Kenya as they couldn't just give it to Italy. If the British kept a united Jubaland, it would have likely given it independence just like Uganda was given independence separate to Kenya. And we would all have been better off.
