Somalis are very diverse, not everybody is darkskinned. I have relatives with Drake's skin-tone, and no, they're not mixed. I am pale like Canjeelo batter during Winter, some of us aren't blessed with a lot of melanin.

That's true, it happens. I have brothers that were mistaken for biracial as children, and are now maariin. It's similar to how a lot of Cadaan people are born with blonde-hair and then their hair gets darker with age.

Same. People used to say to my parents that they thought they took the wrong baby home from the hospital because of how light I was as a kid. Both my parents were a lot darker than me.
