Jamaame is Biyomaal stronghold with some Madowweyne likewise Jilib is a Madowweyne/Sheikhaal stronghold. Both of those areas are 100% under Al shabab.

Maybe you will find few Darood families. However, the entire area is under this man Abu
Ubaidah (the emir of Al shabab) who is half Gaadsan half HY. Does he look like a man
who will tolerate KDF Darood propaganda in those lands? good luck.

A fee Darod families? Mareexaan have a heavy presence in Jilib and are present in the broader district. And are present in Jamaame in Saakow. And there's a few Isaaq in Jilib and Jamaame. And I know that Jilib has lots of Madow same with Jamaame. A lot of demographics changed since the civil war when Mareexaan expanded a lot and even up to the Bajuni Islands.

@nine The only Darood in Jilib are few Absame families. I told you Jilib is Somali Bantu (Shanta Shambarro) majority followed by Sheikhaal and dozens of other non-Darood groups.

"Jilib District: Jilib District has members of the Shanta Shambaro (Somali Bantu), Absame (Darod), Habr Gedir, Hawadle, Ajuran, Sheikhal (Hawiye), Garre, Tunni, Jide (Digil/Rahanweyn), and Biyamal and Warday (Dir) sub-clans. In 2006, Jilib town was the last defense position of the Union of Islamic Courts (UIC) and affiliated militias aiming to prevent Ethiopian and TFG forces from approaching the city. Al-Shabaab has ruled Jilib District since 2007. Jilib has experienced relatively few clan disputes in the past two decades, though it has witnessed combat between other militant groups moving to and from Kismayo. Jilib District has the best infrastructure in Middle Juba, consisting of agricultural factories, large sugar and rice plantations, and irrigation systems developed by the Siyad Barre government. Jilib district has a relatively well-maintained hospital. Running water is available in some locations of Jilib town. The town is divided by a river. A bridge connecting the two sides has been repaired since it was damaged 10 years ago by militias. Sakow District: Sakow District"

This is also Jamaame. Don't let me see you lot again claiming Jamaame and Jilib districts.

:hemad:

"The district is primarily inhabited by the farming and fishing Biyamal (Dir) communities."

"Jamame District: Jamame District has been under the control of al-Shabaab since 2006. Its proximity to Kismayo and strategic importance has made it a perfect site for al-Shabaab forces expelled from other areas in Lower Juba to regroup. The district is primarily inhabited by the farming and fishing Biyamal (Dir) communities. Other clans include the Madow (Somali Bantu) and Harti (Darod) throughout the district, and Sheikhal (Hawiye), Suri and Warday (Dir) and Tunni (Rahanweyn) in Jamame town. Jamame once had a large agricultural market used 42 by farmers in the region to trade produce. Agricultural infrastructure has been largely destroyed by conflict in the region. The district has no running water or electricity and there are few schools. Under al-Shabaab control, little is known about current social services offered in Jamame town"

You're report is wrong saxib Mareexaan do have a heavy presence in Jilib. Even niggaz in Kismaayo will tell you that. Their numbers are enough to clash with other clans.
And yes Mareexaan are present in Jamaame.
I don't get my info from the internet.

@nine

as @Jaalle Halfdan pointed out you might find few Darood families in those districts but they are nobody in terms of influence. The districts are controlled by Al shabab since 2006 with the blessing of the majority locals (Madowweyne and Biyomaal). That is the reality. Now lets get back to Gedo (which you share with Dir, Garre and Rahanweyn).

Yes we do have a heavy presence in Jilib even @Sheikh will tell you that. And even in Kismaayo people know that we are present in Jilib in large numbers. I'm not denying a Sheekhaal and Madow presence. My family used to regularly drive from Kismaayo to Gedo in the kacaan era.

So what does few Darood families being there proof? that they magically own Jilib? when we know the reality otherwise it is owned by Shanta Shambaro (Madowweyne) and Sheikhaal.

There are no mareexan in lower or middle juba lol. The darood in jilib/jamaame are Cawlyahan, Ogaden. They're geeljires tho and aren't that influential in the towns tho i believe.

The only news you really hear from Jilib is on the ground because you don't hear much from there. I reiterate the fact that we have a heavy oresence in Jilib. People in Kismaayo will tell you that aswell.
And Barre Hiiraale and his boys used to fight shabab and when they got kicked out of Kismaayo they ended fleeing to Jilib. Some of his guys went back to Kismayo in 2017 when blackie offered them "peace" and they were complaining of being in limbo.

Mareexaan mainly Talxa have the largest geazing areas in JL. They graze from the Baardheere district to Saakow to the Afmadow district. They better be careful we don't enroach any more.

Nah saakow is mainly Cawlyahan and minority Eeyle people

Maybe mareexan have larger land, but their land is a desert in comparison to ogaden in lower juba.

This is where the cattle of Mohamed Zubeyr grazes. They have the best grazing land among all Somalis.

Indeed it is Elay stronghold and lots of other groups. The reason the entire Middle Jubba is under Al shabab is those groups who make up the majority in that region support it.

"Sakow District: Sakow District has remained under control of al-Shabaab, directly or via proxies, since 2006. The district is comprised of a sedentary agrarian population along the Juba River, with pockets of agro-pastoralists in other well-watered sites. Sakow district is home to the following clans: Awlahan (Ogaden/Darod), Elay, Yantar, Macalinweyne Haryen, Huber, Geeladle, Jilible and Assharaf (Mirilfle / Rahanweyne), Galjecel,Hawadle, Ajuran, Awralmare (Hawiye), Rer Shabele (Jarerwenye) and Garjan. Like Bu’ale, Sakow District has poor infrastructure and is one of the least developed areas of Somalia. There is no running water or electricity and there are few schools."
