Mareexaan are present in Jamaame and have a heavy presence in Jilib and are present in Saakow. This 2018.

A fee Darod families? Mareexaan have a heavy presence in Jilib and are present in the broader district. And are present in Jamaame in Saakow. And there's a few Isaaq in Jilib and Jamaame. And I know that Jilib has lots of Madow same with Jamaame. A lot of demographics changed since the civil war when Mareexaan expanded a lot and even up to the Bajuni Islands.Maybe you will find few Darood families. @nine The only Darood in Jilib are few Absame families. I told you Jilib is Somali Bantu (Shanta Shambarro) majority followed by Sheikhaal and dozens of other non-Darood groups.

You're report is wrong saxib Mareexaan do have a heavy presence in Jilib. Even niggaz in Kismaayo will tell you that. Their numbers are enough to clash with other clans.
And yes Mareexaan are present in Jamaame.

Now lets get back to Gedo (which you share with Dir, Garre and Rahanweyn).

Yes we do have a heavy presence in Jilib even @Sheikh will tell you that. And even in Kismaayo people know that we are present in Jilib in large numbers. I'm not denying a Sheekhaal and Madow presence. My family used to regularly drive from Kismaayo to Gedo in the kacaan era.

So what does few Darood families being there proof? that they magically own Jilib? when we know the reality otherwise it is owned by Shanta Shambaro (Madowweyne) and Sheikhaal.
The only news you really hear from Jilib is on the ground because you don't hear much from there. I reiterate the fact that we have a heavy oresence in Jilib. People in Kismaayo will tell you that aswell.
And Barre Hiiraale and his boys used to fight shabab and when they got kicked out of Kismaayo they ended fleeing to Jilib. Some of his guys went back to Kismayo in 2017 when blackie offered them "peace" and they were complaining of being in limbo.
Mareexaan mainly Talxa have the largest geazing areas in JL. They graze from the Baardheere district to Saakow to the Afmadow district. They better be careful we don't enroach any more.

Isn't Saakow Raxanweyn territory?
Indeed it is Elay stronghold and lots of other groups. The reason the entire Middle Jubba is under Al shabab is those groups who make up the majority in that region support it.
