Zeila was the historic capital of the Adalite kingdom and one of the oldest cities on the east african coast. The rich history this city has is absolutely breathtaking and is definitely on my bucket list of places to visit in the future.

Is that last Sumado script verified? I have never seen anything else on the topic.
There's no concrete proof but its reasonable to assume that an ancient script once existed somewhere on the somali peninsula. Also the writing on the cave looks like the sumado alphabet

There's also this stone tablet found somewhere in Somalia with Sumado writing no one knows how old it is unfortunately

Hopefully as our areas develop more stuff like this will be found. I can't wait for when the sumado script gets deciphered and we will have interesting details about who our ancestors were and how they lived

Thats very interesting do you suspect that some harlas have been absorbed by the clans in awdal?

Yeah, i heard there were some Ciise and Samaroon subclans that claims to be the descendants of the Harlas.
i suspect the Ogadens got some Harlas aswell
