There’s no solidarity in Islam

Racism and tribalism is rampant. I live in america and idk 1 ethnicity tht somalis are close to here. Were cool with other muslims but i cant say we have 1 group tht were friends with. Somalis mostly stay to themselves. The only weird thing ive seen online is from fobs who think tht when a somali person is talking bad about an arab person they think its haram looool like they will jump up and bring up how the nabi is arab even though the person is talking about a random arab. So ive seen tht.

Something that has been happening forever now, people just have to open their eyes

We have nothing in common with other Muslims, and other Muslims are quick to throw Somalis under the bus
Absolutely. I posted a viral tweet here where a politician in the UK had spread anti-somali rhetoric in parliament (somewhat similar to Congress or Senate). This tweet was quote tweeted by two very, very famous politicians in England; one of them was going to be the leader of the Conservative party (UK's version of republicans) and could have been the next leader of the country.

Not a single muslim organisation came out to defend us. Not a single one. We even have many famous Asian muslim politicians, not a single one of them came out to defend us.
We are on our own. I am happily willing to participate in this whole ummah community thing when other muslim groups share the same sentiments - until then, it's a NO!

Same people who are supposed to be your brothers in Islam will insult you for your ethnicity for a couple of laughs

Same people try to judge and shame you based on what someone of the same ethnicity as you did.

It’s time we put our people before our religion.
There’s no brotherhood in Somalinimo. Every clan for themselves.

There is solidarity in Islam and the caliphate is back in 2024 albeit in a more politically correct manner to avoid spoilers from infidels crusaders. Muslim unity is priority number one. The ummah is as strong as always. We only need leaders that unite us and rebuild from scratch centuries of infidels dividing us into meaningless minions that cant even bite. Turkey will unite with their fellow turks, arabs with their fellows, somalis with their fellow and utlimately a Grand King Caliph will rule them all.

These people are the biggest hypocrites, they’ll slander their own parents, gender and clans then complain about racism from other groups. If you don’t respect yourself, no one will respect you.
Literally what nobody here did that 😭😭😭

honestly the way you worded this sounds like you worship other people. Islam is submission to ALLAH, you can't put your ethnicity above that subhanallah

The Palestinian-Israeli conflict is the one issue on which Muslims can most easily come together. Beyond that, there is little solidarity, and anyone who claims otherwise is lying to themselves.

Lol

So @error1 is an admitted atheist and he is now creating threads to promote hate between Muslims.

Who is surprised by this?

All these threads have the same demonic intentions. To attack Islam and solidarity between Muslims.

@error1 no one is interested in what an atheist thinks Somalis and Muslims should do or believe.

The "Muslim" world watched as the Rohingya went through Jahanam on earth. Mass kufsi, murder you name it not even the kids were spared and were hunted for sport like game. 49 Muslim countries with 43 absolute majority Muslims. 2 billion something Muslims just watched. Several of these Muslim nations are absurdly wealthy and could have easily pulled some strings to stop or at least hinder the slaughter but no

The victimhood of this post is nauseating. You have racist people in every demographic and you will have some Arabs and Asians who will look down on you, but guess what? Somalis are just as racist as well. Walking through life with an inferiority complex and caring about or thinking that every single group dislikes Somalis is silly and even more so when many Somalis don't particularly like many demographics as well.

Wallahi one of the things I rate about Somalis of old like the 55+ generation is that they have immense pride and don't sit around going on about who hates them. Most disliked or looked on those groups just as much. (Note i'm not excusing racism).

Also, another thing I need to add is that Somalis will naturally attract haters. We are a very confident, boisterous and prideful people who don't usually have any form of inferiority complexes. We tend to amongst foreigners be a tight knit group bordering on being very insular and don't like to mix with others. it's one of the reasons why we've had issues with other Africans in the West since their culture is one of inclusiveness ect.

I couldn't understand the second line. But are you saying there is no solidarity between 1.5 billion from the same ethnicity because one or few people made fun of you for laughs? And because of that (someone making fun of you) you left the deen? TBH this is the most silly points to leave a religion, you gotta come up with more serious or logic reason.

and why that can't apply to Somalis as well, can't they make fun of or insult you, wouldn't that be a reason to leave these people behind and put yourself first and that's it?

Your brain is rotten from being terminally online

Go to your local masjid and you won’t experience any of the things you’re talking about

Vocal minorities on the web don’t represent the majority

You're fearmongering again. Anti Somali rhetoric is not a thing in the UK. A clip with 1.4 million views and 16K likes is not viral. The parliamentary session wasn’t important and didn’t have a single important MP present. It’s the same type of session where they push for Somaliland recognition and no one pays attention.

And conservatives are not the UK republicans they have always been left leaning. ReformUK is closest to conservative and they are not mainstream. And who cares what a conservative mp says they are very unpopular now and wont be president for a while.

Why are you always trying to create divisions between Muslims? Since when did we need people to step in on our behalf, especially when it wasn’t even necessary? But since this seems to matter to you, here’s an example of Muslims standing up for us: Tower Hamlets Labour group, which is predominantly Bangladeshi/Asian

I remember in Leeds when a Yemeni mother was attacked by racist thugs and the Pakistanis came out in support thinking she was a Somali Muslim mother. That’s when you need real defense not this kind of stuff.
