Things don't look good for Somalis...

What are you suggesting? A Somali UN/NATO?

Yeah, that would be best. A Somali trade agreement and defense-pact would be ideal. Noone wants to be ruled from Mogadishu again, and for good reason. Let every state be self-governing and only come together in defense and economic/trade agreements.

But that would require a level-headed, pragmatic and compromising people.

Prince Abubu Maxamed Siyaad did not physically destroy Mogadishu, that was done by mindless Somalis but I know what you want to say. He based everything on Mogadishu only in later stages did he build with the help of the Italians Puntland's lifeline the port of Bosaso and airport which every Puntlander should be grateful about.

He could have given power up but that would still not be enough once Somalis established up in Ethiopia. It would need political diversity to stop certain clans resentments. He was largely in control by playing clans off against each other to the point of subclans benefitting from his regime and others suffering greatly in isolation as a collective punishment.

I have advice for Djiboutians. Get rid of Ismail Omar Ghelle. Open up your country and let the population have access to the free trade and not only few from Ghelle's progeny, his wifes relatives and their friends.

Djibouti has China as guarantor and were betting heavy on the continuation of the Ethio-Eritrean conflict to have 100 million population Ethiopia which is landlocked to use their infrustructure like port, road and railway.

With Ethiopia likely fading in the future China might be forced to change course this is speaking for the future as Ethiopia might switch to Eritrea. What can the Emiratis offer though in investment?

This will bring worry to Chinese investment in Djibouti who might be pouring money into a dead end. This is UAE tactics bring uncertainity.

Ismail haa to go the people of Djibouti live in dire situationsb without water and electricity. Theiepr country is the most expensive and Ismail and his clique live in luxuary in contrast.

Bastard monopolized the entire economy. We need a revolution but a violent one is out of the question for obvious reasons.

And all these ppl predicting our demise due to the rapprochement between ethiopia and eritrea have no i dea what they're talking about

^Violence gives him legitimacy he needs to crack down on the opposition. He creater a persona cult and the whole country is held hostage and a concert hall where he thinks people need more songs glorifying him instead of water, shelter and elrctricity.

Somalis are a paradox. One would think the harshness of our climate and our small population would force us to cooperate and work together, but it exactly the opposite. Truly, an interesting anthropological case.:gucciwhat:

Harsh climate = more competition for limited resources. You are just talking out of your ass. Somalis are not unique in any way, shape, or form. All nomadic societies suffer from the same problems.

This guy @Prince Abubu is trying to act like this smart moral non-qabilist guy, yet he constantly makes rape jokes about Somali women outside of his triangle enclave. A fucking bum.

More like great psychiatric study cases.

Slaughter and brutally execute every odey or suldaan or generaal and somalia will be permanently cured

dont forget the wahabbi sheikhs too

Corrupt Eritreans, Somalis and Ethiopians have one thing in common—UAE Banks.

UAE will be an empty theme park in the next coming decade. They are finished. Their new asset class of investment is to go into poor countries and get in on the action.

UAE is finished economically and geopolitically in the horn if corruption and meddling of affairs aren’t handled.

Somalia wins again, by sitting out in the sidelines and watching the UAE shot itself in the foot yet again in another East African country.

F*ck out of here :camby:

Things havent looked better for Somali's than today

Somali's are awake, they know their enemies, we have a nacsent government and actual 'friends' abroad.

UAE is pathetic , I do hope Ethiopia and Eritrea milk them dry but i fear they will soon suffer from some crazy wahabi shit

Djibouti is better off bending over for the French and others.

The L is on Somalia (that includes the nonexisting land).
Eritrea and Somaliland have one thing in common. There is a 100+ million dollar UAE military base(excluding the equipment on base) in both places. Giving UAE much incentive to to shift control to where they have military present.

Somaliland is a part of UAE plan to gain control of the route that passes by East Africa.

They're not hiring somali workers+ the road is not even under construction

Berbera is 3 days away by truck

The fact that ethiopia invested in a 4 billion $ train that they've yet 2 pay back doesn't matter huh?

Y'all will say anything no matter how nonsensical to make yourselves feel better. Take the L and go

Berbera is 3 days away by truck

It takes 4 hours to reach Ethiopia.. It takes another 10 hours to the capital of Ethiopia. Who is taking an L here bro?

No they are not hiring somali workers for their military base project in Berbera. They hired international contractor Divers Group LLC. Again who's taking the L here bro?!

If you did not read my post properly, I was referring to the military base in Assab, Eritrea and their military base in Berbera, Somaliland which is supposedly supposed to be finished by now.
