The guy looked like the brits from 1800s who went to Greece and tried to inspire the revolutionaries by reciting homers verses in ancient Greek, the Greek he was talking to were like: What the f*ck he is saying I can't understand his weird language. The OP had same moment with r/Sudan members

To be anti-Cushitic is to lack ambition! Somaliweyn is small-time. This is the big leagues, nigga:

@Apollo

I weep at how the Xabash were not Islamized during the conquest 500 years ago. Imagine, walaal... we could have maybe had one nation between the Horn and Sudan. With that much land and peoples we could have been a mighty power that could wrestle the lands south of Aswan from the Masris and maybe bloody Aswan itself along with all of northern Kenya from the Brits and Bantus.

Imagine a nation from Aswan to Ijara and from Xaafuun to al-Junaynah, home to the civilization of the ancient Nubians, Aksum, the Barbaroi city-states, the Muslim Sultanates of the Horn like the Ajuuraan and Adal, the Abyssinian Empire, the Christian Nubian Kingdoms, the Blemmyes and Medjay of ancient legend and so much more alongside many interesting peoples like the Oromos, Sidamics and Omotics. Everything from green highlands to volcanic deserts to savannahs boasting all the wildlife diversity Kenya flexes at the gaalo to the Nile Valley itself and beaches, beaches and beaches! Not to mention a population potential well-over 200 million if we played our agricultural cards right.

I'd have gladly accepted Arabic as a lingua franca for such a glorious nation that could be a juggernaut on the world stage alongside the likes of India and China. 5,000 kilometers from north to south and east to west. Bismillah. Geeljires think too small with this Somaliweyn business. This was where it was at, saaxiib. Christianity fudging shizzle up like always.

When our country calms down and grows wealthy enough we must indoctrinate other NE Africans via mass media propaganda to be pro Somalia and pro panism and use this to create a regional super power union on the world stage! The nation that must be! It is a mandate from heaven, waryaa. To fight it is to fight what is right!

Shimbris is right you gotta think big. A superpower Somalia would need to subordinate ethiopia and sudan and a model of a greater cushite realm with Somalis as the cushitic sovereign would work.

(Of course it's a larp but that's basically 90% of historical claims)

Why are we being portrayed as slavers, while Nigerian have been enslaving themselves for centuries.

I can see much of the desertification being reversed if we introduce halfmoons dug into more arid areas, it slows off the run off water and give it time to be absorbed by the ground, these can last anywhere from 10-15 years, by that time, mesquite trees alongside drought resistant grasses alongside other similar vegations can be planted, and the education of the locals, not to cut the trees but to use the shrub as firewood or alternative options like biogas from animal manure.

what kind of plant grows like this in 9 days?

Atleast I found this in that clusterfuck.
I remember reading about how similar Naqada and Badari were to modern horn African groups with old kingdom Egyptians (craniofacial evidence) being radically different, I also remember reading on SS how the earliest dynasties in Egypt were more similar to “nubians” with the other servants found alongside the royals being different from a craniometrics perspective.

Could it be that the founding royals with descent from Naqadans were actually “nubian” like commanding over a vast “Natufian” like population when Ancient Egypt was founded? I guess this would mean that Naqadans weren't really ancestral to most old kingdom Egyptian populations except for maybe some small percentage from upper Egypt.

Cushiticnimo (is that even a word?) always seemed like being a beg.

Bar Bejas,I have feel zero connection to "other" Cushites.

If Somalis can't care about their kin,why should they care about some Maasai?

From my understanding, the Qadan culture and Sebilian had links to much older Halfan culture, an archaeological industry associated with the Late Paleolithic period in Nubia, dating to approximately 22,000–14,000 BCE. It was located in Upper Egypt and Lower Nubia. The Halfan culture is considered one of the earliest known cultures in the Nile Valley and is part of the broader Afro-Asian cultural complex of the Late Pleistocene. subclades like E-M78 and E-M35 are particularly associated with North African and Nile Valley populations that were present in the region alongside A and B, you'll find more Eurasian haplogroups further north in lower nile due to fertility of Nile Delta which was great for farming, these neolithic migrants settle on it, and were eventually absorbed conquered by Narmer the first king of Egypt who was from Upper Egypt.

Notice the two cows. Archaeological sites in Nabta Playa (southern Egypt) and Bir Kiseiba (western Sudan) have yielded cattle bones dating to around 9,000–8,000 BCE, suggesting early management or domestication of cattle in the region, I won't get into the genetics but it points to independent domestication of cattle in the region.

Not enough resources are used to dig these old sites, and in some cases, they have been flooded, along as that slimeball Zahi Hawass is alive not much will be done to explore, to anger him meant not getting digging permits, filming permits for documentaries, museum access, and maybe not even a visa. It was career suicide for an Egyptologist to challenge or cross him.

Somalis in Somalia don't care about Oromos or the reset of cushites.

Anti-Cushitic & Anti -Somalian ethno fascism is the way to go. I share nothing with an Oromo Ethiopian and nothing with a Somalian from Baydhabo

Do you know that my kids will always be Habar Awal and proud landers. We don’t seek approval from the orphans of Amisom & Al Kabaab
I was just stating a simple sociological fact in how being mixed race would be perceived in your hypothetical qabil based nationalism world.

Out of curiosity would a habar awal lady with an ethiopian husband be considered a proud lander?
