My country doesn't have to be ''at peace,'' to be able to give logical and sound advice.
Our countries are completely different, have different history, different realities, etc.
Federalism works for us, it may not for Somali's.
Urban planning also entails building codes and laws. If you build without any guidelines and regulations you will get an ugly city. Aesthetics matter a lot in urban development. Those rainbow colours being plastered on every house in Somalia should be banned.
The cities along the coastline should be painting their building with shades of white colour. That is the best colour that blends in well with the white sandy beaches and contrasts beautifully with the blue colour of the ocean waters.

Somali architecture is extremely beautiful and unique no way are we going to completely adopt another whilst ours is so unique.

Interior design is a serious problem in Somalia. Some of my relatives houses look beautiful from outside, 3 story villas with endless gardens etc but once you enter the house it looks like an abandoned building. In my whole life I’ve only seen one house with good interior design and they only had it because they imported everything from dubai
