this is what the italians said on the census for marehan.

i counted MX as 49k in that census, however the italian did write a statement about MX unlike every other clan. they said the done a estimation because they couldn't count all the people.
this is what they wrote:

Madow have two xaafad in Jowhar wich makes them the majority rest share two. 1 Hawadle and Gaaljecel that is twice the size of the Abgaal one. Mahadaay have shiidle majority Balacad has more Abgaal with significant Madow presence also hawiye others.

Wrong. Harti is the oldest but wacbudhan is the largest. Waceysle is the youngest and probably the smallest. Wacbudhan (excluding OG) are probably the largest Somali sub followed by cayr

You are going to tell me they listed 61k? Within their 50k in the census they also listed rural areas on the side and it's names. Very funny guy. I would not have that, they called you primitive as well as calling Howrarsame and Imam Yacqub Bon. Seems like the Italians didn't really like you.

Middle Shabelle is 1.5 million in a UN census or some shit. Same size as Hiiraan, a bit smaller though.

Wacbudhan is very big, no doubt the biggest but Harti Abgaal are known more as they are more urban. Wacbudhan are quite rural, even if you look at how Hirshabelle is divided you will see. But we are the biggest, in the 1931 Census we were around 52k, Harti 30k and Waceysle 24k. Bigger than Maxamud Saleeban combined kkk.

Not too bad. Add it to Puntland which census say it is near 2m and you got 2.2m. Xamar Abgaal is 1mil+ since we are at least 1/3-4and Middle Shabelle is 1.5mil.
