I've been thinking about this for awhile.

We need a hairstyle guide for somali men. All Somali men should be able to find a hairstyle they can easily rock. Not all of us can rock the same hairstyles because of our different head shapes and hair textures.


We also need to encourage niggas with receding hairlines to either go bald or fly to turkey. Hair transplants aren't even that expensive anymore if you go overseas. If I was balding RN I could just go to Mexico and get a transplant for like 4k.

My guy just look at the opening post, im not trying to attack you or anything or deviate from the topic. but your first post was clearly from a girls perspective.

About your point, Unless you have a bad barber. A front taper will not make your forehead bigger it will actually make it look smaller. Also there is side taper with different strengths. It lets your curls fall down.

Somalis with 4a - 4b hair tend to get similar hairstyles as Madows.

Madows are the main ones experimenting and figuring out which hairstyles look the best for type 4 hair.

All we really need is some Somali barbers to start recommending hairstyles for Somali head shapes. Even with this point Madows already started doing this.

It depends case to case if you need long or short hair. Some will look good in short hair, some dont. Also you will need a lineup if you have short hair. What type of logic are you following?

Having a big forehead with a lineup doesn't look that bad. Especially if your hairline isn't receding. As long as you have a decent hairstyle for your head shape your fine.

He would look fine as long as he wore his hair down. Right now he's rocking a ponytail. All foreheads look big in a ponytail.

Walaalos, let me help you lot out.

Stop letting these barbers push back your hairline and give you a tapered hairline, it does not suit the majority of you guys. A lot of Somalis naturally have high hairlines, pushing back your hairline increases and/or shortening the hair at the frontal region and corners gives the illusion of a bigger forehead.
THIS TURNS OFF A LOT OF WOMEN!


SOLUTION:

NO (OR MINIMUM volume) TAPERED HAIRLINES!

I personally go for something like this usually, usually tapered, sides are not so high, no touching hairline.
