Trouble with exercise/weight loss

whats ur diet like
At the moment I'm averaging 1200-1600 calories and just over 50g protein (low I know but I'm a picky eater and the texture of meat nauseates me most of the time), I try to drink a lot of water but I'm stuck at 1 litre a day :jcoleno:

More proteins less carbs
Is less carbs really that important? I have IBS so I avoid wheat/barley anyways but I also eat a lot of fruit and oats which are high in carbs, I thought carbs effecting weight loss was a myth

I would get ur insulin levels checked you shouldn't be gaining that much weight on a diet like that high blood sugar can cause metabolic syndrome
