SubhanAllah isn't he like 40+ years old acting like a teenager his whole Twitter account resembles a gossip page
all men are territorial and dislike their women folk marrying out. It’s crazy how somali girls are obsessed with the idea that somali men are the only men who disapprove of interracial marriage when practically almost every male ethnicity dislikes itSome of the Somali females on this forum seem to love to fetishize the idea that Somali men are Nazi like regarding their women.
On Twitter alone, you have white supremacist accounts dedicated to warning of the dangers of miscegenation i.e white women marrying outside their race. These accounts have over 100k followers. There are at least a dozen or so of these accounts. Yet you never hear anyone speaking about it as a white problem. The Paki and Arab accounts on Twitter have some of the most vile racism directed at the women who marry out.
Show me one Somali account that has even a fraction of the followers these accounts have.
Somalis are one of the most open minded communities to interracial marriage. A foreigner can come to Somalia, get married to a Somali woman and be treated with dignity and respect. Look at Somalia and Djibouti, there are entire communities of people who have cross married giving birth to new communities.
it’s a short sighted post. The reason why Maya is insulted is because she is gaal. If she had two practicing Muslim parents, wore a hijab and wasn’t on the scene and dating ajnabi rappers, they wouldn’t be saying any of that. Maya would still be talked about the way she is if she was fully Somali for the simple fact that she’s not Muslim. Their issue with her doesn’t stem from the fact that she’s mixed since in their eyes she is Somali but it’s because she doesn’t practice Somali culture.
But if Maya had a Somali mother, was actually practicing, they wouldn’t accept her AT all even if her image is one that is seen as acceptable. That Somali Algerian footballer is a Muslim, looks Somali and hasn’t done anything to compromise the Somali image and if his father was Somali he would be celebrated.
You compared apples and oranges with the Maya argument and you know it is due to misogyny, that Algerian Somali guy did nothing and isn’t doing anything at odds with Somali daqan, it’s his mother they have an issue with, so yes it’s misogynistic.
Oh how clueless you are? Ever heard of Jiheye? Well I’ve got news for you, he has 250,000 followers
Guess what his content is based on? Exposing, bashing and hating on women in IR unions.
I can’t believe you mentioned 100,000 when we have double that already and more channels popping up.
Aside from your weird phrasing, the more diverse your gene pool, the more immunity you have to certain things. Having a limited gene pool can increase the risk of getting diseases since people are likely to have more dominant genes in a smaller pool. Many Somalis are also against foreign wives because they indicate higher cultural and blood type differences. The average western citizen is inherently a peasant, a gypsy, a farmer etc the further you move out of the greater gene pool the higher the risks.
I never said they don’t bash their women, that wasn’t my point, my point was that I’ve never seen a half Pakistani point blank being told that can’t mention their Pakistani side? When you see mixed raced people, do you see one side constantly saying they have nothing to do with them? The only group who did this and do this amongst them are white supremacist and their one drop rule.
Plenty of ethnic somalis are playing in pro leagues, go through the list, sure they are competing in poor European leagues but taha is genuinely a great player in a top swedish side. Not gonna lie, I was disappointed when I found out he is half Somali. We don’t even have any full Somali professional players.

How does a few people wilding on Twitter give them the right to hate us? That’s moronic. And other communities are very loud in their hate for interracial marriages. I’m barely online like that an I have seen the vitriol they have when their men and women marry out. It’s a worldwide incel pandemic. Just look at how cadaan people never recognize a mixed person as cadaan and they even had the 1 drop rule.Just another day of Somalis being a total embarrassment online. It's hardly something new.
One thing that is very unique about the Somali community specifically on social media is that they feel they need to give their irrelevant opinions on everything. This is Ajeeb.
Many other communities share these same sentiments when it comes to their women marrying interacially, but they usually keep it quiet and understand they need to keep their image clean. But Somalis on the other hand they have to go to the public eye and show how racist they are.
It's like we want other people to hate us. So let's not complain about the future when ajnabis start hating Somalis.
This is exactly what I am saying. They say the most vilest stuff. Put Somalis love to say they are the only ones who part take in it and that we are the the very worst.all men are territorial and dislike their women folk marrying out. but that's just the ones you know. There are probably plenty more who's parents don't want them hanging out who just kind of become recluse and isolated from the somali community. Not necessarily. Most Farahs I know hang out at the masjid, all the ones in my area have a basketball court they play at. Xalimos in high school/uni usually tend to be apart of a Muslim Student Organization or create a Somali club.
I think it's just a vocal minority of socially stunted people that become chronically online. I agree parents don't try to remedy this at all
It's not the same thing. How often do you see other mixed folks on social media minding their own business get told out of nowhere that they are not white/insert ethnicity? however you see this very often with somalis inserting their unwarranted point everywhere to the point where a number of people have complained about it and some have even locked down their comments. This is exactly what I am saying. They say the most vilest stuff. Put Somalis love to say they are the only ones who part take in it and that we are the the very worst.
That footballer is the son of a Muslim Arab male whose culture isn’t that far removed from Muslim Somalis as well. Somalis do not look down on North Africans because if they did, we wouldn’t have had that phenomenon of Somali men going on about finding Arab wives in Morocco. Somalis are ok with the reverse, North African Wife and Somali husband, but if the women dare marry out some of incels turn into rapid fools.Somali men do not prefer ajnabi marrying their womenfolk unless the foreign male is a high dignitary with clean customs. And they would have to be a successful model of a successful Muslim family. What do you think of the pysche of Xalimos who want to accept trashy ajnabi but later expect decent Somali men?
Many Somalis are also against foreign wives because they indicate higher cultural and blood type differences. The average western citizen is inherently a peasant, a gypsy, a farmer etc the further you move out of the greater gene pool the higher the risks.
It isn’t an irrelevant point since it was my original point. I made it clear other groups hate it when their women marry out, but my whole THREAD is literally about the harrassment of mixed kids NOT just the mothers, it’s about Somalis specifically seeking them out and writing in the comments that they can’t mention their Somalinimo. With all due respect, apart from Cadaans with their one drop rule which I even mentioned I’ve not seen other groups write this under their mixed folk even if they dislike them. That’s always been my point so you’re the one who is trying to shift the goal post. You're trying too hard to focus on an irrelevant point for rage bait.
That was my entire point, it’s one thing to insult the woman and say stuff about future kids, but it’s anger ball game to specifically seek out and then personally harass these mixed kids under their comments and then get offended for saying that their mother is Somali. If a half Lebanese half Ghanian ( this is a common mix) mentioned their Lebanese roots, very rarely would Lebanese go out of their way to comment on their mix when if they dislike them, and I wager they’re probably 5x more racist than Somalis and that’s my point. What's the difference between someone specifically saying you're not Somali because your father isn't (denying them Somali identity) and someone bashing their women and their ape kids? So because they didn't say those kids are not Pakistani, then it makes it more palatable? I fail to see why your specific categorising of one type of insult of the same type/genus merits more outrage than the examples I've given.
I’m fully aware, but you’re not being honest here. You tried to insinuate that Somalis wouldn’t have pages that are more than 100,000 but guess what? We have pages close to half a million dedicated to insulting women in mixed unions. Therefore your whataboutism is irrelevant since that’s what this whole exchange is about. Somalis are terrible in this department. We are a small ethnic group and we already have pages nearly half a million dedicated to shaming women in mixed unions despite mixed race marriages being low. We aren’t even nearly the same number of cadaans, nor Pakistanis.Have you been on anything other than the Somali side of social media to know what they say about interracial offspring? You sound like you only frequent Somali spaces so it doesn't surprise me.
You’ve proved my point, you used white supremacists who have a history of the one drop rule which America is built upon, I’ve acknowledged that, but I’m yet to see a mixed kid who is half Arab or Asian having people in their comments telling them they can’t mention their Arab side or Asian side.
A normal day on Twitter:
This video alone has over 220k views.
But because they didn't say your dad or mum isn't our ethnic group then it isn't as bad and humiliating than what those Somalis say. That's how you sound
I don’t think you’ve been in other peoples communities. Cuz it does happen to them. They will be existing, posting their spouses and they get extreme hate for no reason. I can pull up so many instances of it. You should see the hate those madow football players get for marrying out. They will post their spouses online and told they’re a traitor to their race. That they are breeding out their genes. To think it’s an only Somali issue is very moronic when it’s a worldwide issue. It's not the same thing. How often do you see other mixed folks on social media minding their own business get told out of nowhere that they are not white/insert ethnicity? however you see this very often with somalis inserting their unwarranted point everywhere to the point where a number of people have complained about it and some have even locked down their comments.
You'll see ppl just ppl just existing on tiktok and posting a vid of them acknowledging they have a somali half get told that "you are only somali if you have a somali the father" and it has hundreds of likes for some reason. That's just weird behavior.
Asian people do it on a regular basis. This is not a Somali phenomenon only. It’s a worldwide issue. You should see what the Japanese say about the Hafu online and how they discriminate them too. They tell them they are not Japanese and don’t acknowledge them. One big instance of this was Miss Japan who was half madow. “In 2015, Ariana Miyamoto, who has a Japanese mother and African American father, drew criticism online after she became the first mixed-race woman to represent Japan at the Miss Universe pageant.” Also here’s a video about it.It isn’t an irrelevant point since it was my original point. You haven’t as well. This is a Somali phenomenon. We know whites behave this way, they’ve been engaging in a rigid one drop rule for a long time.
She was representing them in a beauty contest despite looking nothing like them. This is hardly unjustified and even the same as someone causally mentioning they have a Somali mother and weird commentators angry they revealed that.Asian people do it on a regular basis. You should see what the Japanese say about the Hafu online and how they discriminate them too. They tell them they are not Japanese and don’t acknowledge.
