Isaaq lost 2 technicals and an ambulance as a result of the last skirmish, but that does not matter in the grand scheme.
Isaaq must regain Las Anod before any negotiations or the calling of any ceasefire. Regaining Las Anod requires vastly more resources than it did 2 months ago, or even a month ago, due to the growth of the opposing force.
Two changes have taken place in Sool since Dec 2022. Nothing else that has happened matters in the long term.

- Isaaq vacated Las Anod assuming they would have the military wherewithal to retake it at a later point in time. This was proven to be a mistake when they couldn't retake the city on Feb 6. SSC forces had become too large to be driven from the city.
- Isaaq were then placed under pressure at Tukaraq, and on Feb 26 had to retreat in the face of greater force all the way to Goojacade.
