I don't know where everyone concludes he wants to extend term, this isn't presidential/parlimentary election but local councils in the district. Jan 8 2024 will be normal 66 system. Why are they saying election extension? farole wanted to do full elections and say i need time to finish, its not the same here.

@Abdalla if Deni is tryin to hold parliamentary/presidential elections after the local council ones which will require much more time, I agree with u, waa jambal mudo kororsi, but did he say that anywhere? he must come out and tell the people the presidential/parliamentary elections will be the same as it always was to end ppl adding their own conclusions. To be quite honest im not even a fan of democracy the ppl need to be more educated and financially independent first like the west is or else its an african democracy in the making

Two wrongs don't make a right. Even if we take that argument, Deni started the process much earlier. We had Mideeye campaigning as early as 2020. There was a trial election in 2021. Juxa started the registration the first days of this year which is a whole year before their term is ending. We understand that this is a boon for Deni but it's also one for the people of Puntland.
