I was just talking to my uncle who participated in the fighting around Maraaga. He conveyed to me all of the forces seized ghanima including 6 tanks. It was magnificent display of coordination between different commanders of Puntland/SSC battalions.
Tonight, the closest Somaliland units are in a place between Caynabo and Oog. And due to the crushing defeat they suffered, they are no threat to the Harti/Fiqishini/Tanade forces in Sool region.
There are also reported infighting between Somaliland forces in Aynabo and in Ceel-Afweyn.
Finally, the road between Lasanod and Guumeys is lettered with Somaliland vehicles that were destroyed in the fighting.
