As Somali women, we need to say alhamdulilah, we are not involved in this clownery, if Somali men still think engaging in tribal wars over barren land is the right thing to do, we need to disengage and leave them at it. We need to start investing into anything that benefits somali women the same way they invest in their tribal militias & qabyalad.

Why are Somalis always looking for new ways to be divisive

My Aabo woulds always say just because your friends tell you to do something you shouldnt do it. So even if Somali women were verbally instigating clan wars that does not mean you should listen, pick up arms, and go fight. Once you do the action you willing chose to do it. But at the end of the day qabilism is a disease for the masses so the naag wont leave the niin behind. Some of the women like to see the other side dead too but the men still willingly chose to go fight. Lowkey would be crazy to see Somalis come together one day but ill probs be dead by then lol.

No offence this post is redundant, this is war we're talking about by definition you're involved whether you like it or not. I hope the women and kids are safe and sheltered during this time, Somalis only have energy when it comes to killing themselves.

These are short lasting regional conflicts for political reasons not petty tribal wars.

SSC/Khatumo broke apart because they are unionist and want to become a members state alongside other Federal states of Somalia whereas Somaliland is seperatist and want to secede.

Jubbaland and FGS conflict has to do with overstaying your mandate. The FGS wants to initiate direct elections and term limits. And the President Madobe rejects it so he can stay in office.

There is no fight between Galmudug and Puntland that was one skirmish that happened back in June between communities about provisions and they resolved it really quickly.

Outcome of it:

The three parties agreed to a ceasefire and to cooperate with security forces. Secondly, they agreed to separate the militias. Finally, they agreed to prepare for a peace conference in Dhusamareb, the capital of Galmudug state.

Both men and women have full responsibility. But i believe it’s because women have no other choice. the man is made to be responsible for the family back home, the women have not that much authority over men.
