We have to create a better future for our race.

You can't keep living in the White mans country or any other country you will always be viewed as a foreigner and be treated like third class there no matter the circumstance. It's so demoralizing waking up everyday in a White mans country helping his country/race succeed only pieces of shit scumbags don't care that they're the unwanted guest in another persons home. Humans have been tribal and will always be tribal. Racism will always exist and there's nothing you can do about it. That's why we must rebuild our country and create a better future for our descendants. If you choose otherwise and decide to choose comfort over building your own nation your descendants will eventually mix out of existence, and you will be mixed out of existence by either the Whites or Asians etc.. If the people back home don't want to build shit and continue with their destructive ways like being terrorist low lives, and qabilists we have to teach them a lesson and force them completely or it will be the end of us.

Youve been assimilated theres no hope for you or your lineage, just sit at home and insult everyone back home. The problems the government, 99.99% of the people bakc home are not terrotist low lives. Yeah some might be qabilist but thats because of a lack of a government. Truly, somalia is still an ungoverned place. People are just too tired to even fight anymore, even the animals have left.

Now all youve done here is complain and youre literally acting like a white supremacist loser, first work on your self complaining like a girl here isnt gonna do anything

Its good to hear this Wadani talk from you lol, the overall sentiment is shared.

I was recently talking to someone that lives in Xamar, and I broached the "Barre" topic (a recent obsession of mine), instead of hearing negative things, she was singing his praises. She is not uneducated either but a qualified nurse that works with NGOs there. After asking her if she actually studies him in school, she told me no but she learnt it indirectly in school, from others who who think the same.

She knows first hand of the violence and senseless bloodshed there, but even then said that she would very much prefer a sole figurehead that had a monopoly on violence. I thought that was a luxury opinion only found on SSpot.

We have smart people who dedicated themselves to this common cause in their own way, we just need to add to it.

There are people on this forum that live there, I used to know someone that moved back, I know a few people on here that after their education intend to move back, I intend to move back too.

The political situation in Xamar seems to be going somewhere but it may very well just be a repeat of the recent past, meaning nothing.
So in the end, its up to us private individuals, I dont know how, a long march through the education departments, private institutions, cultural institutions or all of them at once.

There are people who share your sentiments, just work on your faith, it is tied to more than you realise.

That’s not hard to believe saaxib. The only people who still support USC and their rebellion are those who benefited from the warlord era by looting government and private property. Despite Siad’s many many flaws he was still better than what followed him for the people of Xamar.

Anecdotal evidence considering it’s only based on my immediate family but all of them supported USC at the time and regret it in hindsight. Not to be a Siad Barre revisionist but it’s a case of the cure (Caydiid and warlordism) being worse than the disease (Siad). These are people who had their properties looted and destroyed while also being severely beaten by Barre’s soldiers on the eve of USC’s arrival to the city. You wouldn’t expect them to be fans but every single one I spoke to in Somalia and abroad all expressed nostalgia for those times. Hindsight is 20/20 and perhaps if competent people had kicked barre out of xamar we would be signing a different tune but the past has already played out. All we can do is learn from it.

Very interesting. Anecdotal or not, I will keep this in mind, as I read some more.

At the end of the day saaxib Siad Barre had to go. He had too many enemies and was an incredibly repressive leader who used collective punishment far too liberally to ever succeed. If he loved Somalia as much as he claimed he would’ve seen the writing on the wall and created a transition plan. He didn’t and is a big reason (although not the biggest) reason why we are in this mess. The biggest shame is that Somalis didn’t capitalize on the unity that existed after removing barre and instead turned on each other until the whole country was destroyed and no one was left standing.

I like you thoughts but you must first ask yourself how you would go about achieving this. Small changes can lead to greater outcomes down the line I've come to believe and I know it might not be a old man by the time people back home begin to get their act together. However you must ensure your house is in order first, that's the Small changes. Ensure you teach your children the values of being Muslim and a love for their people. Perhaps they can do better than those that came before, because we've inherited a mess.

My family although being hg favored barre above usc but were scared to express their opinion. I do think that most of their supporters were just rural jahil people

Be grateful that you are in the west, lots of people would love to have what you have like a strong citizenship, access to good healthcare, education and safety.

It’s not sufficient to just move back home, what’s going down there is outside of everyone’s control. A cultural change is needed that would probably take decades.

Really? Do you mean in hindsight or during 90/91? This isn’t cuz you’re HG btw lol my family is Murusade and they all supported USC then as well.

This is common sentiment, majority of the somali people believe there is no government. But they are content with it, thats what 30 years of violence does theyve given up. Just waiting for things to change. Everyone prefers Barre, he had some problems but at least there was a dowlad to depend on. What do have now? Aidocracy
Also you type like A.I.

Lebanese and Indians have had a century year old diaspora and are still thriving and doing good

more Somalis should migrate and make a name for themselves out there instead of rotting away in Somalia

Infact thousands leave Somalia each month

Your right bro whether you agree or disagree we all know deep down that we have no dignity in another mans land but sadly the leaders back are holding us back and not letting our nation and people prosper until we get a good leader somalia will never stabilise.

Afweyne bastard. I used to bootyclap for him hard till I found out about the senseless atrocities he carried out. I hope his soul is getting deep fried in sunflower oil with hell flames. Had he not proceeded with the coup d'etat then maybe we'd now have something that resembles a proper state

I don't care if my descendants get "mixed out" since I won't even be alive to see it, so many problems in this world and this is your concern?
