Are you bothered with my stance on the niqab? My opinion does matter, it does not take away her right to wear it. I will say that there should be a vote so that I can vote against it. There's no logical reason to cover everything except your eyes when you can actually wear the hijab.
One thing I also wonder is how do these women that wear the niqab integrate? How do they find jobs? The niqab is so restrictive.

No. My religion is between me and Allah. I don't wish to force it upon others. The world is not a monolith, especially not the muslim world every muslim is not gonna be pro - sharia laws. And theres a lot of problems with sharia laws.

I'm not bothered by it, but I don't agree with it. Niqaab isn't compulsory in Islam but some Muslim women choose to wear it and I have much respect for them.
You can vote against it and others can vote for it. However, if a woman wears a bikini outside I don't see why women who choose to cover up should be discriminated against simply for their choice of attire.
Believe it or not, they go about their daily lives just like you do. They go to university/college, work, drive, take their children to school etc. They own their own businesses and people always stare and are curious so they do interact with others and allay their fears or correct their misconceptions. I've worked with a few myself. When it's necessary they take their niqaab off.

The faithful (Somali) adherents of Islam are certainly not the remnants of a 'dying faction'. The 2nd generations Somali immigrants in the west are undoubtedly a lot more religious than their predecessors, you'd have to be delusional to suggest otherwise. On what premise(s) is your claim that only 'Somalis' are the remnants of a dying faction based on? What you're implying is that practicing Somali Muslims are the remnants of a dying faction though Islam is the fastest growing religion?
