Lool I feel I already expose too much about myself on here but I would say this about most Canadian Somalis under 25, in my experience I've never come across qabil talk. Just once a girl opened up my eyes to how it negatively impacted her (madhibaan) but from what she said it was her expecting discrimination (when it came to marriage) not that anyone did/said anything to her.

I knew nothing of qabil or regions until 2 years ago even then I still don't know much, or care.

I mean I've personally never experienced this, and I've been around Somalis all my life. I have tons of cousins here too all around the same age group. I can only speak from my experience.
