Hardly an actual conflict that concerned average Somali, or harmed the country. There was war in between that period you named, 64 border war with Ethiopia which ended in a stalemate, and the “shifta” conflict

Didn't Djibouti have a civil war in the 90s against Afars?Or Djibouti which has never seen war in general for the whole 20th century. Last war in Djibouti was the ottoman conflict in the 1800s, Aussa sultanate becoming a vessel then france leasing the land from Ciise Ugaas and Afar Sultan to create a trading port called Djibouti
This. Somalis can ONLY develop and grow through the efforts of the working man 🛠 that aspect of abhorring labour in our culture needs to be shed off and trades should be allowed to flourish. Industry is Key to Somali Success. Some Somalis seem to think they are too good for physical labor and only consider office jobs acceptable.(Not diaspora)
64 war was an actual conflict, Ethiopia had invaded Somalia and tried to seize border towns, 30,000 Ethiopians crossed the border and were held off by 5000 Somali troops, a lot of vicious fighting and civilians died.Hardly an actual conflict that concerned average Somali, or harmed the country.
I found this but I don't know how accurate it isView attachment 351730
It was localised to afar villages in the provinces nothing really happened in the city or somali lands. The government and French airforce bombed the afars and ended the FRUD rebellion quickly and forced them to re-integrate into the Djiboutian government again accepting that, by constitution, the president can only be Somali. With an appointed Afar prime minister.Didn't Djibouti have a civil war in the 90s against Afars?
