Ancient Nilos didn’t have the Niger congo dna modern ones do, probably looked quite different

Modern Nilos (like Dinka-Nuer) only have 20% Niger-Congo genes and the Gumuz only have 10%, so I don't think we looked all that different to our proto-Nilotic ancestors.

For some strange reason even the North Sudanese Arabs and Nubians have Niger-Congo introgression at 10% as well; I don't even know how Sudanese even acquired it because we didn't have any Niger-Congo neighbours until very recently.
