What does Wikipedia say about your hometowns?

The populations were all incorrect for a lot of Somali cities and towns on wikipedia though from what i've seen. I'd be interested to see a proper ranking of all cities today.
We have to wait for a few years to get a proper census instead of relying on NGOs

Somalis are fraudsters. I'd trust the independent NGOs over s massaging the numbers. The census results for NFD in Kenya recently were a laughing matter.

Bohol

The Erigavo settlement is several centuries old. It lies approximately 180 km from Badhan the second biggest city in the region to the east, The general area is noted for its numerous historical tombs, where various Somali clan patriarchs are buried.[2] As of 2013, Erigavo is the administrative capital of the northern Sanaag region. It is also the center of the Erigavo District.

It's also where Musse Ismaeel sub-clan of Habar Yoonis is buried and use to be an Isaaq city trade route during the middle ages.

Erigavo is the eastern HY capital of Sanaag and Bohol will be the eastern HY capital of Sool. :fittytousand::siilaanyosmile:
I will invite the Musa Arreh and Musa Ismail to Bohol in the future so we can make it
a very big city.

Now it says Somalia :)
Read what it says saaxib, you are in denial. Obviously it's in Somalia because Somaliland is not recognized as sovereign lol. Let me make it easy for you to read.

Las Anod is the administrative capital of the northern Sool region of Somaliland.

The Sultanate of Hobyo, led by Yusuf Ali Kenadid, ruled Hobyo in the 1870s.[4]

By the late 19th century, the imamate began to decline. Faced with internal problems, the imamate also faced challenges from the imperialist forces as well as the Zanzibari sultan, and even the Portuguese in the earlier years. By then, a young ambitious rebel called Kenadiid managed to invade Hobyo with the aid of the Italians. However, after few years, he was disposed and overthrown by a former commander of the Imamate named Guuleed Faarax Jeex who put Hobyo back into the hands of the Imamate for a short period of time.
[4]

False history. Yusuf Ali Kenadiid established the Hobyo Sultanate, and it was ruled continuosly by Reer Kenadiid for almost 50 years. He did not create his sultanate using Italians, but brought Hadhramis musketeers with him from Yemen a decade before any Italian set foot in Somalia. He then recruited from his own clansmen whoo lived in Mudug, and expanded his sultanate south towards Warsheikh, north towards Eyl and Nugaal valley, and west towards Hawd and Galadi. There was never a war between any "imaamate" and the Sultanate of Hobyo, totally fake. Some tribes would rebel from time to time and they invariably lost. Even the Italians lost to the Sultanate's forces sometimes.

I will have to edit this entry soon, thanks for the heads up.

He did sign a peace/protection with the Italians after a few years, so that he could maintain control. And when he fell our of favor with the Italians, they banished him away:manny:
