Puntland has a lot to offer and is progressing fast. Infrastructure improvements are underway, agricultural and cattle improvements. If they got the ball running on airports and harbor ports it will benefit Puntland immensely. Also if they implement smart tax systems, it would greatly increase their revenue!

Now to the more good stuff. There are expected to be $billions worth of oil everywhere in Somalia and especially in Puntland. If they get some oil exploration underway, Puntland might hit the jackpot.(When you do find oil don't secede from Somalia. The south needs that oil money LOL).

Also try stay out of the borders of Somaliland it will greatly improve your security(Sool&Sanaag). We will square up like they do in Detroit otherwise.

Good point about the potential of oil revenues. Why would we share it with a government that are oppose our state

You on the other hand raised valid points most Puntlanders would agree with but they were in their prominence during previous FRS government under HSM.

Withdraw completely from FRG or Somalia? I am a huge fan of complete autonomy, but not secession. However, secession guarantees full autonomy. I think dealing with FRG costs too much money, energy and time. It's holding us back. Every landmark we've achieved was done without the SFG, so I don't understand their added value.

The previous speaker was pro secession, so this sentiment is growing. It's just a matter of time before someone publically campaigns for it.
