Personally, I don't argue against someone calling me black when I live in the U.S. I mean, we're like a few hundred thousand up against hundreds of millions and centuries of this ideology being ingrained into their society. We can't verbally stand up to what they believe whilst also living in their lands.
I'm whatever they see me as here, but when I go to the HOA, I know what's up.
The only thing I dislike about the black label is when they add us to it AND generalize about black people. e.g ("Islam and Christianity are foreign to BLACK people"; "C'mon, it doesn't matter if I'm not Muslim, you need to let us marry your women because at the end of the day, we're all BLACK") both of these I've heard multiple times.
They need to realize that 1.5 billion people aren't a monolith. There's no black unity and I don't owe you shit for being black.
