Loool I got Rebel. I hate when someone tells me what to do and I consider my needs to be of utmost importance, I could care how others feel about that. I highly value freedom, independence and choice. I prefer dancing to the beat of my own drum.

Thanks.

I find myself drawn to those values. :whoo:When someone tells you what to do it may trigger your spirit of resistance particularly if it doesn't gel with what you want. I can relate. People assume I'm highly agreeable which might be true to an extent. I prefer to keep the peace and get along but when someone is highly disparaging, or treads on my values. It's going down like a Spaghetti Western.

I got rebel too but I did see a few posts on the thread before I took the test so I'd take my results with a grain of salt.

Could be pre-test bias

Questioner is more of a rebel than rebels :gaasdrink:

:cosbyhmm: I beg to differ, you guys are more likely to cooperate than Rebels. If I can explain to you logically why you should do X or Y you probably will.

All I need to do is sufficiently answer your questions or guide you to someone capable of doing so. I think your lot are very self-directed and aren't fond of doing things that seem arbitrary. In this way you differ from upholders. Particularly when it comes to meeting external expectations. It needs to make sense to you, then you internalize it and and make it an internal expectation. At least, from what I've read.

:whoo:
Your kind readily meet both inner and outer expectations. This is great because you're motivated by fulfillment. You hate to make mistakes, like to know what's expected of you and can rise to the occasion. You don't need very much hand holding and you're a self-starter which is great.
The major downside is you can be quite rigid and highly rule driven which in some instance may box you in/constrain you. And it might be challenging of you

Questioner!

I actually, thought you were going to be an Upholder. I don't know why but Questioner also makes sense.

Yes. I’m not super stubborn (although I can exhibit madax adeeg tendencies from time to time) if something makes sense I’ll do it, but to be supervised, surveillanced and micromanaged violates my core values immensely. But I’m compassionate and considerate of others, as long as I make sure my needs are met too. Self-preservation is key.

I wouldn't have pegged you as a rebel. :cosbyhmm:I would have guessed questioner. You're right in that the replies may have (primed you) and influenced your response(s) but I hoped you answered as honestly as you could.

:farmajoyaab: Me too. I hate being micromanaged since it undermines one's competency. It's better to have an egalitarian approach to leadership. Rigidly hierarchical workplace cultures never appealed to me either. Exactly, there's also nothing wrong with balanced reciprocity. You can still be Self-focused and Other focused provided it's reasonable.

Obliger

Pretty much sums me up I guess

:whoo: Wow, you're an Obliger?

:gaasdrink: Questioners are very adorable. You need to be convinced and require that things make sense for you to move forward with a decision. You're lovely in that you can be very intellectually engaged and are an asset because you might question old and less efficient ways of doing things. The downside is you might be over analytical which can stall decision making.

Being a rebel for the sole purpose of rebelling.... You understand how childish that is right? :silanyolaugh:
