But I can tell you I'm not sharing a house with my future evil mother-in-law......
I'd just have to get used to herWhat if it's your mother in law who clearly despises you but dotes on your spouse and kids?
She'll be like a second mother anyways unless she's some type of qumayoI'd just have to get used to her
Lately, Somalis who work in retirement homes have discovered other Somalis who have been left there by their family, who have never visited since.
One report in particular is a Somali girl who worked as a nurse in a retirement home who found a coherent Somali male who was unkempt. He sobbed as he told her that his kids left him here when his wife died, and his bad English couldn't save him from being declared incapable.
I know Somalis aren't like Indians or Pakistanis who make their parents move in with them after their honeymoon but is there a point in your life where you will care for your parents or leave them in the care of others?
Ngl I was expecting some very caasi answers but I'm pleasantly surprised.Excellent topic![]()

How does a 71 year old have an 88 year old grandma???My 88 year-old grandmother lives with my family. We could never imagine otherwise.
She's full of tender loving stories and she's a great family historian.
Of course she's at times grumpy old lady where the slightest things bother her. It's comes with the territory. It's return to childhood at this point. We treat her like the nephews when it comes to certain things because now she has a loose tongue where nasty ladies dig into from her whenever they call or visit and like in any family we got private situations happening at times that is none of anyone's business
