It will only show foreign companies Somaliland can and will be bought.
I wonder how much of a cut they will get from revenue. It's possible that government port revenue may not even increase or could probably even decrease.

That's paltry. The UAE said that they sent aid to help and swore that it wasn't for commercial interests. That was when they were trying to out do Turkey. Siilaanyo is just another greedy bastard but Alhamudillah you can just build another port and forget about Berbera. 15 million for the whole port for 30 years is just to rob you blind. He didn't negotiate, he just took your money and gave you Somaliland propaganda in exchange and that's exactly what happened to us too.
But why did they restrict themselves to Berbera, imagine you had a port right on the edge of Puntland, a port on the two seas, Gulf of Aden and Indian Ocean.

If they build the port's capacity you can't tear up the contract. Oil requires drilling and refining, shell didn't do any work so you can tear up offers any time you want.
