The most famous poetry & poets even cultural dances are from Ogadenia/Hawd & Waqooyi. Majority of Somalis history is situated in these regions, thats why it’s the heart of Somali’s cultural heritage.

Reewin. Lixda Gobol ee Maayland unii leh!
All the regions that do not do niiko, and whose Af-Soomaali is comprehensible (this does not apply to Af-Maay, Af-Garre and other non-Maxaa tiri languages).
This comment is xenophobic and discriminatory. I as a Maay speaking Somali from SWS and Maaylander am deeply offended by your comment.

In what sense is Af Maay and Af garre incomprehensible. Why cant you just admit you are ignorant of the language instead. Languages are learnt you are not born understanding it.

I personally would say Baidoa, SWS as a whole. It's known for its rich culture in food, music and welcoming other people's. Also being a hub for the Maay speaking Somalis who contribute their own subset of cultures to the wider Somali culture.

Galgaduud and Mudug, strong folks.
Dadkeena waa strong allahumabarik. But the people with the richest culture, civilization and tradition waa reer benadiri. Do you realize most of our food and clothing originate from banadir. Baris iyo moos is a cultural cuisine started by the reer banadiri community. It was later adapted by Somali nomads.

I would say the Banadir coast. Most of our cultural cuisine, clothing, and traditions originate from the Banadir coast. For example, our most famous dish, Baris iyo moos, was originally started by the Banadiri community. Macawis iyo koofi is another traditional Benadiri dress. Somali nomads adapted these traditional clothing and cuisines. The Banadiri community had a lot of influence on Somali cuisine and clothing.

Before you go all "Maay Lives Matter", go read my comment again.

I said "this does not apply to Af-Maay and Af-Garre".

For god's sake.
